Hey guys, sorry if I'm interrupting an conversation but I seem to be having problems using my Asus tf700 (with keyboard dock) with my Hrt Music Streamer II, the Problem is that whenever audio is played through poweramp, the sound comes out extremely distorted and fuzzy (Btw I have used my Music streamer in my full on set up using my laptop and the sound is fantastic through that).

Not interrupting at all, has the sound always been that way through your tf700 when attached to your dac?

yes, whenever I try and use the usb port for audio this has happened and it has happened using all my other music player (apps) options.

I'd try experimenting with root and some kernels for your transformer that include USB audio out (please tell me if I am confused and your tf is one of the windows rt ones?)

I'd really dig into rootzwiki and xda dev on the tf700 forums because at first I didn't even get my nexus to pick up anything but thumb drives over my USB otg cable, even running community roms.

Finally got FULL USB Audio support on my Nexus 10 tablet!

Combine this rom:

With this kernel, recently revised to add full USB Audio Support:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2098157

Works flawlessly with Fiio E07k and Hifimediy sabre, no USB Audio Recorder Pro app needed! I used it with various music apps and even Google Play Music.

I am so happy I almost cried last night! Would love to get FULL USB Audio Support with my T-Mobile Note 2 (SGH-T889), but I'll settle for this for now or even forever. It's just so ridiculous it took this long and this many roms/kernels, but finally, Nexus 10 Tablet with FULL USB Audio Support. It's a beautiful thing!

hope the nexus 4 can do this in the future. Does it only work with that particular rom or does it work with all roms?

This is good indeed

, but now the limitation becomes the 32 Gb storage. Not too many High-Reds files can be stored !! (no MicroSD card I believe)

This particular ROM is a mod of Cyanogenmod, but regular Cyanogenmod 10.2 might work. It does NOT work with other roms. I tried that kernel with stock ROM and another custom ROM, didn't work. I think it's that kernel + Cyanogenmod 10.2 that did the trick for Nexus 10.

I think the guy who made that kernel (Franco kernel) does a Nexus 4 Kernel. Might not hurt to go to XDA and ask him or someone if there is a combo of a custom ROM and a kernel for full USB audio support on the Nexus 4. Would be nice if his Nexus 4 kernel also enables USB Audio support and if it plays well with Cyanogenmod 10.2 for Nexus 4.

Totally correct about storage and no MicroSD card. I did put a bunch of FLAC albums (including some 24/96 vinyl rips) onto the Nexus 10, but it's better than nothing. And hell I still prefer using my own DACs for listening to Google Music (which converts the FLAC I upload to it to 320k MP3).
