hi i'm a owner of galaxy note 2 and usb sabre hifimediy +otg cable ,i ve read a lot of post 3 monthes ago about it works only with usb audio recorder ,but 3 month later is it always the same or works with poweramp or neutron now? thanx for your answer

One of my friend used Note 2 + HRT Streamer for his car audio. He tried Dragonfly, but did not succeed.

So I have both the HiFimeDIY and Nova Tiny-M DACs with me now.

Honestly I can't really discern a difference between them driving my UE 900, build quality seems the same too (in fact the enclosure looks identical apart from the printed branding on the Tiny-M), so would recommend the cheaper of the two for prospective buyers.

So far only tested on my S4 (Octa version) and working fine, plug n play, no USB Audio Recorder Pro required.

In terms of volume output its adequate for me with IEMs, although I know a lot of people listen louder, so YMMV. Don't think these could drive larger cans etc well enough without amping (although with a tiny FiiO amp that is still an exceptionally compact portable unit).
