I hope this site's legit. There are 144 ratings though. The ZX700 sells for $87 there and the ZX500 sells for $45. Maybe Adorama or B&H would price match?

You know there's a ZX500 right? It probably won't be as good as the ZX700, but hopefully sounds similar.

Yeah i know dude but they are for on the go and i have a small head so the zx300 are big enough.....:)

I question the sanity of whoever decided on such a length.

It's a studio headphone meant for a work environment where you'll be wheeling around from console to console. It makes sense there.

I'd just like to add my 2 cents on my experience with the Koss DJ 100.
For anyone who has glasses and considering the DJ 100, your ears will start to feel uncomfortable after an hour with them on. It sometime became unbearable.

But as a replacement, the ATH m30 pads fit perfectly and feel awesome.

So.. just from the chart at the end I'm thinking of buying the Audio-Technica ATH-M50's. But there's also a ATH-M50S edition. What's the difference between the two? Help |joker| :frowning2:.

S has the straight cord, the other is a coiled cord.

The standard ATH-M50 has a coiled cable, and the ATH-M50S has a straight cable. That's the only difference between them.

For the most part I thought it sounded like crap except for the refined and detailed bass w/ lighter presence than the other XBs.  I don't consider them Xtra bass phones for those that like to go Boom Boom Boom.
