Are you sure all of the counts are correct, joker? I tried working it out and somehow found it impossible based on the numbers you gave, especially in the first few guesses people made.

I can give you a rundown of my logic if you're interested!

Well that's a different case then.

So, have you ever tried the recommended setups for other headphones? I have a feeling that people way overemphasize this issue (as well as others, like burn-in). It seems as if someone does not like the sound of thier favourite headphones, they always tell them that it's because of his setup, or it needs some ridiculus amount of burn-in. I can see that this alone is enough for you to not start a full-size thread. But some impressions would be nice. Like brief comparsion to the others you use: HD25-1 , Pro 650

No, I've only tried 3-4 mid-range amps which is not nearly enough to get a feel for the field. And yes, that's why I will not be doing a full-size headphone review thread.

I counted the MDR-V6 and MDR-7506 as the same thing early on which should fix your numbers.

Oh good - I was thinking you were mad because you got them and didn't like them. Let's just say they take FOREVER to burn in and the sound goes all over the place during this time.

BTW, you never answered my other question - do you want in on the Prodipe Pro800 tour? I'd really like to get at least three people in on it and so far only have two. I extended the time the reviewers could keep them to 10 days so it'd be more like three weeks 'til you get them but I'm sure you can think of SOMETHING to do in the meantime lol

Sure, I'll try the prodipes. Three weeks is good - I've got plenty to keep me busy.

AWESOME! You just made my night, my friend. I think you'll like them as much as I do.

BTW, the 10 day limit doesn't apply to you. You can keep them as long as you need to. You're last on the list anyway so no one's going to be waiting for you.

Thanks, hopefully they're as good as you say they are.

EDIT: Nevermind, got all 9... will post soon

Bold claim... curious as to how you narrowed it down for the 9th one.
