The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")

I just listened to it yesterday at CanJam NY. It is the real deal. Very nice. You should get the M&O electronics beryllium Bluetooth headphone if you can’t get the RBH sound. The engineer said it is the newest iteration of the driver from RBH. Same bass potential, but I believe the mids and treble might be better. Also has aptx. It’s cheaply made but he told me on amazon there is a code to get it for $105... definitely worth it. As far a Sonics go, the new PSB/Nad Bluetooth headphones are the ones to beat. They aren’t out yet but they sound phenomenal.
thank you very much for that!

is there anything more expensive that does more bass with a detachable cable and good build thats closed that you'd recommend? maybe $100 or $200 more than the v moda m 100? im only interested in spending more money for more bass.

@OldDude04 why you want to sell? You found another amp to love?

Don't get me wrong, I still love the iDSD, it just isn't seeing any play time. I replaced it as my desktop amp with a Topping D30 DAC and a Garage1217 Project Polaris amp. The combo is just so good together. And I never really used the iDSD as my portable device, it's too big for that imo. I got a sale pending on my iDSD so I hope it ends up at a good home.

The bass in the audioquest nighthawk headphones slam. The funny thing is the paper test doesn't show it very well.

I agree. Nighthawks have great bass and are very good if you're sensitive to upper midrange and highs like I am.

The 630's are fun to play with and the bass is very good. The rest of the sound just wasn't that impressive to me. Not bad just not as resolving as the nighthawks. I kept the nighthawks and sent the 630's back.

i've only had them 4 months but I don't see a problem with durability. Granted i'm not one to be rough or throw around my headphones.

So I bit the bullet and purchased some Fostex Th900 and I'll get some SMC connectors so I can do a removable cable mod to them.. Needless to say I am EXCITED!

@Hawaiibadboy will my Oppo HA-2 juice them hard enough? It seemed plenty for my sz2000, but it is only 300mW @ 16ohm... Maybe I'm missing something here as I see the Cayin c5 has ~800mW at similar ratings. I'm interested to see how they can hit vs the sz2000, I'd be surprised if they compete but I'm sure the overall sound is far superior

No comparison between m100 and yamaha.
The Yamaha has more Punch for my brain. I adquire this cans last saturday and I'm so happy with my two brothers.

I have not tried them yet with the e12. But with the X5 hits hard.

I would love to hear soon the SZ2000 that are on the way.

I never had the chance to test the Yamaha. I'm wondering how they are dealing with 20hz-40hz frequencies. The vmoda m100 do a good job if well amped and eq'ed.....

Whatever for hip-hop/trap lovers if you want to test the subbass abilities of your CANS here you go :

I don't know 5 hip-hop/trap songs that dig that down in the low end !

PS : if this song doesn't impress you in the sub-bass domain, it's that your headphones miss amp or equalization........ This song play so nice on my VMODA M100. with the SZ2000 it's just insane !

Love me some Pro500's. The Bass response is super fast though, so low freqs don't rumble as long as other phones. Midbass punch is lethal. Can knock you stupid. My favorite headphone. Love the W. Only headphone I know that's tuned that way.

I agree with that compared to the M100 the pro500 hits harder in the punch frequencies and the sub-bass is enough to rumble your skull too.
