So our thread just got moved to the Headphones (full-size) area, from the Members' Lounge. I guess it's better this way since most people go there for recs anyway.
Approx quarter of a sheet of fresh out the pack A4 printer paper used
No tape used - paper placed over left earcup with right ear cup holding/sealing
Test Conditions
Source: iPod Touch with EQ set to bass boost, playing YouTube Wiz Khalifa's "On My Level" track
Amp: FiioE17 with bass EQ to max setting 10 and 12dB gain
Recommend: Play video on full screen to check paper vibrations with fullest detail
Thoughts: Sig DJ's produce a consistent low to mid paper vibration.
(Edit 9th Aug 2014) S-Logic technology reduces SPL by up to 40% which is clearly reflected in this bass/paper test which makes the Sig DJ bit of an anomaly.
You must use an A4 sized piece of paper cut exactly in half
You must state DAP and AMP settings.
You may use a group Youtube account to ensure your own personal privacy if desired. (PM sent to me for login credentials)
The 3 bullet point are not optional. This is a "controlled" low frequency display with the only variables being nuances of eq and enhancement done via DAP/ AMP processing.
And whatever you bass cans can do
Big props to @cb3723 for bringing some gladiators...a whole ******* herd of gladiators
please please PLEASE stop multiple posting. If you're gonna talk about stuff do it in one post like I'm doing here. You pushed off the Sig dj Detox and others cuz your talking about your mod in 3,4,5,6 diff posts......
