Battle Of The Flagships (58 Headphones Compared)

By several accounts on this thread, David is done. Why not move on and make an ongoing poll listing new or currently available flagships, with everyone who gets to hear them at meets or buys them posting their impressions? It's essentially what the forum does anyway, but as many have noticed, it's useful to see everything in one place.

I personnally would find it very usefull if reviewers would list their upstream equipement, and the music that they used for the review. It would surely help us to better understand their ratings.

Hopefully DavidMahler or another user does an updated version (or an entirely new version) of this list. With the recent new flagships that have made a splash, it would be amazing if something like this was done every year (and that's asking a lot, I know

).

Doubt this would happen any time soon. David DAC alone cost more than 99% of most people's entire systems

Where are the Beats by Dre in this comparison?

Sorry, I just couldn't resist it

A really lame and old joke I just made.
But still I cannot stop laughing. What is wrong with me?

Akg 701s, an ancient pair of Sennheisers HD420 and just acquired bargain brand new Grado RS2i, already ordered some G Cushions bowls. Not that I find them uncomfortable over a couple of hrs, as an alternative sound. By nature I'm never satisfied always searching ...... typical HiFi nut
