The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")

Overall combo of bass and SQ probably beats everything on the list including TH900 which have rough treble sometimes. On bass alone I need to slap XX pads and play with amp and EQ for a weekend and see how much i can get out before they choke on 55Hz

Hi, thanks for getting back and hopefully you play it with Amp.
I have 3 options to consider and want to consult you which one you think (I have Xduoo-05 amp/dac to connect to):
- Used JVC sz1000 - around 150 usd
-new M&O (on massdop) - around 125 usd
- new SaoMai Haafee (on AliExpress) - around 125 usd

My preference usually is deep sub-bass beside good quality sound (treble region like Senni hd6xx - not brighter even a bit).

Thanks in advance!

My JVC ha-mr77x is slowly dying, I can hear rattling of one speaker on max volume. I brought ha-mr60x-b because they were supposed to have slightly less sub-bass but still kick hard, but that's not true, bass is crap. If I had to guess it's half as strong. I thought maybe they will shine without amp, but on my phone in-ear JVC FX1X destroys them. What should I get below 150usd that can replace mr77x ?
I'm a bit scarred because JVC stopped producing decent headphones and I don't think I can enjoy music on weaker headphones anymore also I don't wan't to buy used ones. I was hoping to upgrade to sz1000 and then sz2000 over the years but that's not going to happen with current prices.

ws1100is is usually on sale on amazon for 129. i think based on the 1 star reviews its pretty durable. but mine creaks a bit when walking.

but i think even better (im not sure if this is a basshead headphone, guessing not) might be the hd 630 vb. they are 40% off on amazon and a guy is selling them used on here for $170 plus one of the guys says he will do a removable cable mod for free. could just be a scam who knows.

I have the HD 630VB, I think it's an excellent, underrated, audiophile headphone with great bass, but I wouldn't call it a basshead phone in the mold of the headphones in this list. You might consider the RBH HP2 clones / variants still out there available, as I recall, some were mentioned a page or two back in this thread.

Hi all, I've been a M100 owner for a long time and have always enjoyed their sound. I wonder has anything around the same price range improved on it at all?

Also and my main issue at the moment, is I'd like to move into wireless headphones but am struggling to find some that would be considered basshead suitable. Can anyone recommend any? Are the Crossfade Wireless 2 more of the same from V-Moda and the M100's? I see everyone praising the new Sony WH-1000XM3's which I think have a slight bass emphasis but not like what I'm used to with the M100. I guess I could always EQ it with the app but one of my main uses for headphones will be as a gaming headset as well which the M100's have been great for so far.

i am weary and dont buy any headphone with more than 3% 1 star amazon user reviews. alot of headphones break easily.

i wouldnt bother with the sonys or crossfades because of their 1 star issues.

I don’t think so but I’ve never tried ... but I know the thread OP has the 630VB and doesn’t recommend them in this list although he does say they are excellent for what they are and likes them.

Got damn!! Someone else has bought the Trandsound One from the UF Audio Store in Aliexpress during 11.11 and has received a message from the seller saying that the order will be delayed another month since they were overtaken by the purchases and did not have enough stock. I have been buying 13 when there were 21 units in stock. I do not understand!! Now, if I run with luck, my headphones will be receiving between January or February!

Hey fellow bassheads, I'm having a purge sale and one of the items i'm selling is a mint condition JVC HA-SZ2000 with unused stock pads and optional MrSpeakers Alpha pads. Just thought I'd post a heads up in here in case anyone was looking.
