Yep, what's really crazy is with the original X3 purchase discount on X3 ii, a $26 X1 and $20 Piston 3.0's you are only out of this category buy $5!

Yes it does. The warmth of the X1 is a very good addition, but the soundstage could be better. For ~$100 it's a good device. But I'd suggest the xDuoo X2 for the Havis, much better pairing IMO.

It's overkill for the Havis, LOL. The X2 has enough juice to power even 250 Ohm full sized cans to normal listening volumes.

Just checked out the X2, I'll sure say DAP's have come along way since the old Nomad days! Seems this little baby would not be too hard on ones wallet, it's the AK 120ii that would put mine in shock

 (we won't even mention the 240)
