I don't use bell shape earphones anymore since i got a pair of in hear headphones but i still think they are interesting, the problem is they don't block ambient noise, the cool thing about them is they are like very small speakers. i would like to get a pair of expensive one.

Dailymusic PipeBud-SB, from South Korea.

Another artisan earbud maker. I simply love to get these kind of earbuds. Fully handmade - not just the tuning, even the unique shells are completely made by himself from epoxy and resin.

The sound is warm and smooth. Midbass has a distinct emphasis, on the verge of boominess, but never invasive. Subbass presence is substantial too, moving a nice bit of air.

Midrange is clear and smooth with a nice bit of crispness. Lower mid is full and organic, upper mid is energetic but within control. It is musical but not smothered.

Treble has sufficient energy but the notes have smoothened edges. The region is distinctly present yet not piercing. Definitely not dark.

Stage is BIG, with very nice depth. Separation is quite nice with lots of air between notes. Imaging is simply delightful.

All things considered, these are bang for the $80 that I paid. Both visually AND sonically pleasing, the PipeBud-SB provide a nice fun and relaxing sound.

Will these be available to order?
Well, you are more than welcome to send me a message on insta for this! These will not be my known buds series, as they are more of a tester for an idea I have been playing on. The 3d cad model I previously uploaded is going to be my main buds, using custom speakers and the body in polished aluminium. Won't be available for a while, but I plan to spice things up for that other earbud.

I also figured out a way to add more low end in these bell shaped earbuds, and it seems to work very well. By placing the dampening material in specific parts of the driver, and not on the actual venting of the shell, this seems to act like a baffle for a headphone, controlling airflow much better and getting more rumble in these buds.
I know this works because ive tried with various shells and dampening with this, seeing if i can get more controlled and clean bass thats gotten weight to it, this method seems most effective.

Visit his ig profile. He has got lots more design.
Congrats on your new shiny! :)

Those look very nice! They remind me of an old pipe organ. They put me in the mind of the "old school" pipe organs I used to see when visiting pizza parlors in the 70's and 80's.

...

I can't speak for any of the Bells because I haven't heard any of them.

The RW3000 are TOTL in sound quality. But it is hard to say it would sound better because that is purely subjective. At that point it will come down to if the tuning sounds best to you. Having said that, the RW3000 do nothing wrong, and if they align to your preferences, you won't find better. Sorry for sounding sort of vague.
Thank you.
I have ordered RW3000 at the VS Audio Store at last.
I'm looking forward to listening to the RW2000 and RW3000 to see how different they sound. (I'm also concerned that for the price difference, there are rumours that the sound quality is not much different...)

You are most welcome, and I dearly hope you like them... :)

Don't worry about that because they do indeed sound different. They are complimentary of each other and are both worthy of owning IMO (as long as you like the tuning they each have).

I look at it this way, where the two compare to each other:

  • the RW2000 is the "fun" tuning and is more full sounding and musical and is capable of reaching lower into the sub bass region. On these, the treble is rolled off to make them overall a bit darker.
  • The RW3000 is the more "analytical" of the two but not boring like you might find in a complete "reference" set (even though I love reference sets :)). The sub bass is very rolled off, but the mid bass keeps it from sounding bass light.
Edit: Oh! And, congrats on your (incoming) shiny! :)

I do want to clarify something about the differences between the RW2000 and RW3000. It involves the bass on each of them. The RW3000 gives the perception of having more bass. This is partially true. The RW3000 has more quantity, but rolled off sub bass. This will give the impression of more bass. The difference here is the that the RW2000 actually is more linear in its tuning and the volume level is less than on the RW3000. This means that the bass will be louder and thump more in the mid bass on the RW3000. Having said that, if you listen to something that has lots of sub bass, you will get more rumble and it will reach lower (audibly) on the RW2000.

So technically saying that the RW3000 has MORE bass is true, the RW2000 show the entire spectrum, even if a bit less loud or forward. I DO hope that makes sense?!

What do you think is better, Yuin PK2 or FAAEAL Rosemary?
Are your ears big enough?
If your ears are large, you have the MX500 shell Rosemary,
If your ears are small, the PK2 in the PK shell is right for you.

Do you want enough bass?
If you want bass, you have the Rosemary,
If you don't want bass, the PK2 is for you.

Meaning mod the MX500 shell with the Rosemary? What do you think about the default Rosemary?

Thank you a lot!

Rewritten answer.

Are your ears big enough?
If your ears are big enough the Rosemary in the big size MX500 shell is suitable.
If your ears are small, the PK2 in the smaller size PK shell is suitable.

Do you want enough bass?
If you want enough bass, the Rosemary is suitable.
If you do not want enough bass, the PK2 is suitable.

I would probably go for the Rosemary if the shell fits your ear well. The PK shell is immensely comfortable but the modern iteration of the PK2 doesn't have the greatest reputation. One question: can you solder at all? If so, you can try the Rosemary out for about $10 and tune it very well for about $15. The FEAEAEAEEEEAAAL tuning is just solder the driver into the shell and gluing it in with NASA heat shield grade adhesives. A couple 'DIY' companies do this anti-tuning with their buds as well and charge over $50(up to $75), so FEAEAEEEAAAL still isn't doing you a disservice as far as value goes and the DIY guys are using inferior IMO drivers to the Rosemary one when they charge so little. You can DIY for yourself and make it among the best buds you can buy period for under $15. I do like the original PK2 driver a lot as well, but I haven't heard the modern one--it's of course reputed to be worse than the original, but I don't really know.
