But alternatively, a warmer amp would probably be of great help too. 
I haven't used the HD250.  With the closed Senns, I like the HD380, and I use the 280 all the time in the studio. I thought the Momentums sound really great for what they are designed for.

Yes. i love the look of the WA5 and aesthetics are very important to me. I just ordered the T1 and got it for 670 euro new can you imagine that! anyway the WA5 is a long way off because i have to upgrade my laptop next and then a new DAC and then maybe the WA5 but i might get the HD800 before the WA5 also. If i do go for the WA5 i will sell the WA2. i don't have a problem selling amps but headphones i wont sell.

yes i remember you saying that you used to keep all your cans and now you only keep the good ones. maybe ill be the same when i have a bigger collection. i remember saying i would never sell my electric guitar or mode four amp or saxophone but that all changed when i moved up the guitar ladder! i think i will keep them all for the foreseeable future though.
