I so wanted to be owning and testing this but the delays have turned me off. It can't be helped but I'm done and done.
If anyone grabs these if they are ever released

Let me know.  it has the potential to cross the audiophile basshead divide like the TH900 does but we seemingly will never know

AudioQuest is from where I live. I'll be trying them out as soon as they let me listen.

For anyone that uses the WS99, I found the perfect Viper EQ settings for them (at least for me). Its's modified off of the Rock preset. Really brings out the sub bass and gives it a smoother tonality. Can't speak on it without the Extreme beats mod though

It's good for an open can. The 880 has more and the 770 more still. None of them have the potential to make the top 10 list, but they sound great and have satisfying bass.

 The V4A is like a freakin strip club candy store ...just so much to see.  I prefer it over my X5  in all ways besides stackability. I need to figure out which small but powerful amp can not block the camera of the Note 4 and be strapped to the lower back half.

I'm currently using quakeBASS and classic Walkman MegaBass

Can't believe I've never used this feature. The bass is vibrating my face
Edit: Boomsound IRS sounds even better. Think I may have to get the paid version

I recently rooted my Galaxy S4 just for V4A.  Wow, glad I did.  Talk about tweaking fun!  Anyway, I found a guide online that had a link to several Dolby Pro Logic .irs files.  Still in the "playing around" phase but I like the option.  Think I'm going to sell my Fiio X1 and use the money to get a bigger memory card for my S4.  V4A has made it obsolete as far as I'm concerned.

Edit:  I should probably mention that I didn't have to do some of the steps in the above guide (e.g. SELinux Mode Changer).  I just created a Viper4Android\Kernel directory on the root drive of my phone and copied the irs files into it.  The rest was pretty easy.
