Oh, yeah. Cars can always do better. But that dude has a bassy computer desktop setup :)

Hey dude, what do you think of the visual SPL of bass air moving paper on our headphones bass test as devised by Hawaiibadboy?

It's kinda like ICA bass competitions for headphones :D

I haven't seen that. But I like seeing sleeping bags moving:

Dear Lord!

That was awesome :D

I've a 5.1 KEF speaker system for my TV powered by a DENON amp and the KEF subwoofer can jitter the bottom of my jeans when sitting on my couch if I face the subwoofer directly opposite.

The subwoofer is double sided and is covered in a thick rubber like car tyres - when I got it set up, the guys installing it used a THX test DVD to check everything and it had that part on Raiders of the Lost Ark movie at the beginning when Harrison Ford is running out of the Temple with a huge boulder behind him and that's when I noticed my jeans jittering with the bass - lol.

If I turn the vol up hard, you can't hear the person sitting next to you if they are shouting at the top of their voice.

I'll do a video sometime to show it's bass SPL

Here's a recent video of the bass/paper test we perform on headphones - it acts as a visual demonstration of how sub bass hits paper in the way it would hit your ears and side of head.

I noticed for the XB1000s on the list the EQ needs shows not enough info. I can tell you from personal experience if you leave your eq on neutral, these headphones have no bass at all and just sound normal. So they need EQ on the lower end to really bring that out.

Thanks for this thread guys. Super entertaining!

I am an old school base head. I mean, I saw the Beastie Boys License to Ill in concert. Who says you have to be young to enjoy a booming system.

So this morning I'll plug in my kings of bass JVC sz2000's through a Fubar IV limited and drive some "Butter" by the tribe. :)

Cheers.
