Definitely, apparently the bamboo cups sound really good too. I would have purchased these instead of my DT 770's + Atom / Atom dac if I knew they were coming back.Too bad they aren't offering the removable cable variant. But still, getting an E-MU for $350 is a good deal.
Can anyone recommend headphone with strong mid bass (60-100Hz), crunchy midrange and highs that are not emphasized, basically _/\___ headphone?
Not too far off at all, lol. I'm extremely happy with the results, both sound and looks.
Really well done. Looks professional!
I purchased it for about 20% off its retail price - approximately $1,300.Im sorry. I have explained myself wrong. I wanted to know how much you paid for the fostex. Thank you
I haven't done that before, but they actually have a slightly similar sound signature. At the very least, you can tell that these headphones hail from the same family. The TH900 is a more aggressive headphone, though, thanks to its accentuated treble response.Has anyone tested the pads of the fostex th 900 on the th 610? I have read that they are left with a similar sound profile.
That's a good price. Shame, it's not the removable cable variant. The stock Teak has a rather long cable; it's 3m in length, the same as the headphones in the old Denon DX000 series. The cable is also thick and unwieldy - it drives me nuts when I'm using my Denon D2000.E-mu's are back again on Drop, wish I would have known they were coming back! https://drop.com/buy/emu-wood-series-headphones
If you are talking about the D7000, I can give you a brief comparison. Can you tell me in brief words the differences berween thx 900 and denon ahd700?
Thanks for reply - i didn't try them cause of 80Ohms rating, which i think is too muchDT1350
Mmm, how about the E-MU Teak, or the Fostex TH-X00? Both of these headphones have a slightly boosted mid-bass section, and are fairly linear from the mids to the treble. At the very least, the highs aren't harsh or sibilant. Thanks for reply - i didn't try them cause of 80Ohms rating, which i think is too much
However, i've tried DT770 and i was utterly disappointed...AIAIAI TMA2 sounded great, as well as M100.
I was thinking about Aventho Wired, but i have some strange disgust about Beyerdynamic headphones
Anything else? I'm looking into max 300e range.
TH-X00 are phenomenal, but availability here is zero same goes for E-MU Teak...Mmm, how about the E-MU Teak, or the Fostex TH-X00?
Well, you're in luck. Drop is offering the E-MU Teak for $350. Pretty good deal, I feel.TH-X00 are phenomenal, but availability here is zero same goes for E-MU Teak...
I can find T610, but they are 500+e here...
