The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")

Speaking of ifi tour...has anyone had any experience with the xbass on the ican pro? They claim minimum of +12 db boost at 10, 20, and 40 hz. That would be unreal. I can tell you that my ican normal edition xbass doesn't do much below 20.

Crappy weather has me spending too much time on here. ...but, I just came across a review of the mcintosh mhp1000. Reviewer said in the cons:

"Heavy bass drowns out everything, Shakes around your ears."

Not a con in my book! Anyone have experience with these? They're expensive ($2000), but the review makes them sound very promising.

The bass is about Denon D5 &7000 level. Not that much compared to bass list but for an audiophile it may be impressive.

If you get a chance, check out the new Denon d7200.  It just dropped her in the states, want to see how these compare to the oldies.  Kind a have a my doubts after reading up on it.  Seems like they are doing what sony did with the z7, adding self dampening material....  Still want to get a bassheads impression on them.

Hey guys - is the Cayin C5 still the go-to for portability with SZ2k's? Bout to order one if so.

Technical Parameters:
Rated output power: 800mW + 800mW (32 ohm load)
SNR: ¡Ý101dB (A-weighted)
Life time: about 12 hours (32ohm load)
Frequency response: 20Hz-100kHz (+- 1dB)
Sensitivity: ¡Ü500mV (gain H)
Charge limit voltage: 12.6V
Charging time: about 4 hours (off state, the use of DC5V / 2A charger)
Total Harmonic Distortion: ¡Ü0.02% (1kHz)
Lithium battery capacity: 1000mAh / 11.1V
Size: 136x63x15mm
Weight: about 185g
American TI company specializing in Hi-Fi Headphone Power Driver IC
German company's top Hi-Fi WIMA capacitors
Japan's top ALPS Hi-Fi level potentiometer
Japan's Fujitsu's top-level Hi-Fi relay

are these stable at 16ohm? Wouldn't it then make it 1600mw x 2 (3200mw total), which isn't far off from the ifi idsd.

Anyone can clarify for me thanks. Ofc seems the ifi is more than 2x $$

Dang! Oh well, I don't have $2000 sitting around anyways. Until the SZ 200 are dethroned , I can't see myself getting another set of cans. Maybe th900 mk2 now that I have tested the waters in the form of the X00 though. They are great, but sure are missing the extreme subbass rumble I crave!

But woody cannons for $300 has been the deal of my life. Frickin dope!

I have a modded TH900 coming my way soon. I have a feeling it is going to smash everything but the SZ2000 in terms of impact, and especially overall fidelity. If I end up not selling my SZ2000 (only $150!! buy now!!!!!), I will do a paper shake video comparison.

If you gotta sell em, do it after you make a video!! Just my opinion, though...
