Do you think it sounds the same as Clip+ and Zip? It would be nice if Sansa gave the SQ a little boost.

Early reports from the Clip+/ZIp head-fi forum indicate that Clip Sport may be a SQ downgrade from its predecessors.
Early reports from the Rockbox forums indicate that Clip Sport has a different chipset from its predecessors, one that they can't target as a port.

  Not sure what you mean by this, the clip+ is as transparent as it gets. If you mean applying voodoo dsp garbage to 'magick' up the sound, then no thanks...

Can you add a photograph from behind the Clip? I'm curious as to how you attached it because I've been pondering precisely this kind of mod for a while, now, and I haven't figured out how to make it work.

Thought that question might come up, original clip broke so I glued on one of these metal Acco paper clips from OfficeMax to the back, it's very secure, used sticky two face pad fortified with duco cement.

Now if I could find a short 2.5mm to 3.5mm cable to fit my momentums.

...Wonder if the momentum cables work with the 598, would be nice to have a mic on that headphone.  Same 2.5mm on both, just not sure if they use the same lock to keep them in place.
