Teclast X30SE + Ibasso T3 = very nice combo.
X30SE has total 20GB of flacs and even without amp it has a good opened, clear and detailed sound.
Also built quality is on par with Cowons for example. Cheap and perfect. With amp, SQ is on par with HSA Studio...

Zune 30 in a case I just got for it. Ditched the cx300ii series B's for some $10 iems that sound embarrassingly good. Total cost: $50 for used zune (they can be bought NOS for about $80 from ebay so I'm not breaking the rules!), $3.99 for the case, and $9.99 for the iems.

Way to rock that Zune! I loved my HD until it got full.

I have a ZuneHD as well and the wife has a Zune16(little one). I guess we kind of got hooked on them and never looked back!

Some new additions....
An iPod Touch 2G 8GB that the guy claimed was a refurb.....either that or it is really in great shape...lol. Basically no useful apps will work on it anymore (iOS 4.2.1) but it still plays music just fine.

And just arrived today....

Do you think it sounds the same as Clip+ and Zip? It would be nice if Sansa gave the SQ a little boost.

Not really sure yet. The only headphones within reach when I unboxed it and tried it out were my Ultrasone HFI-15G, which are decent for portable use but not what I would use to compare players. And it turned out that the files I loaded onto it , none of them were on my Clip Zip, so I couldn't really compare anyways.

Not sure what you mean by this, the clip+ is as transparent as it gets. If you mean applying voodoo dsp garbage to 'magick' up the sound, then no thanks...

Well that's your opinion and I really wasn't asking for it.

This is not brain surgery when a "Contributor" ask a "Headphoneus Supremus"  a simple question about the latest models SQ compared to earlier models and he gets a SA answer from a "Head Fi'er" instead of a "Just the facts mam" answer which entices the "Contributor" to enlighten our young "Head-Fi'er" with his opinion
