Thank you, I already own the JVC HASZ2000, do you think I still should get the TH900s?Not just better, FAR better. I have owned all of those headphones. I still have the 900. Although, HE6se on the right amp has a very hard hitting mid-bass. Kick drums slam violently. The 900 is far superior in sub-bass though. The LCD-2 is a lower tier headphone than the the other two, unless you like a really warm wonky sounding headphone with decent bass.

I would say yes, but I'm biased. I haven't heard the JVC myself, but it has its reputation for being a bass cannon. Otherwise, from what I understand the TH900 is many leagues above the JVC in every possible way except for the sheer quantity of bass output.Thank you, I already own the JVC HASZ2000, do you think I still should get the TH900s?

What @monkey4054 said is true. The JVC SZ2000 hits harder than the TH900, but that is where it ends. The TH900 is a much better headphone overall and with EQ hits very hard. Some people say that the treble is a bit too much for them though.
You can get close to the bass of the JVC with EQ. It all sounds way better. The highs are a delight to my ears... But apparently for some that's not the case....Thank you, I already own the JVC HASZ2000, do you think I still should get the TH900s?

Do all the different versions of TH-900 MK2 hit the same or are there variations among the different limited edition versions?

I don't think all the limited versions are tuned exactly the same.Do all the different versions of TH-900 MK2 hit the same or are there variations among the different limited edition versions?
I will say after hearing a th900 mkii with Lawton modd, it slaps!
a local head-fi friend let me try his, and I got some for my Denon, but the mkii is just all around monstrous with the bigger chambers

So the clean and detailed mids and highs from the Denon with added mid bass slam from the M100 and with some added sub bass is the headphone i am looking for...Okay i got the Ah 5200 from denon today and compared them to the M100 Masters. Definetly the most difficult choice until now. You definetly can notice that the Denon just has better mids and highs, you can hear details that you just cant on the M100 Masters. But! the Bass on the M100 Masters still slams more its more mid bass focused. Id say the 5200 is definetly the cleaner of the two. it has good bass extension but the Bass sounds more Airy. This decision is so hard becasue i love the bass impact of the M100 masters but i also love how clean and detailed the 5200 sounds in the mids and the highs. Struggle to decide between the two. In fact this comparision just made me bite the bullet and also order the 7200 as last headphone ill try in this. with the dt1770 Pro. Keep in mind though the 5200 was 170€ more expensive.
Edit: after some more listening i decided the 5200 will go back. For the music i listen to (mostly EDM or Hip hop) i would be more happy with the thumpy mid bass of the m100 masters. Also what really pushed me was that i found myself playing with the volume a lot more with the 5200 on some songs the right sight started lightly crackling on the bass notes and had to put the volume down a little while i never needed to with the m100. Will be just the DT1770 Pro and the more bass heavy 7200 left

I can heartily second this reco. The Teaks were my favorite headphones for bass until I got the TH900mk2 (the Z1R are also great).Fostex TH900 or on a budget... E-MU Teak.
