The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")

I own the both the Crossfade and Crossfade 2. With EQ they sound really good when amped. The drivers on both are different and I am expecting the M100 to sound totally different as well. The highs on the Wireless 2 is brighter vs the other one. I'm guessing the highs on the M100 could be a bit less vs the Wireless 2. Either way, you can't go wrong with the Vmoda when amping.
How "bright" would you describe? mids forward? or highs "shouting"? on wireless 2 compare to wireless 1.

I had wireless 1 years ago but I believe I received a faulty one from amazon and then I returned it. It rattles when the bass hits which is not what im expecting for. After that, i just forget about vmoda. But last black friday, i tried wireless 2 at bestbuy and the bass is better and sounds are fuller than what Ive heard on wireless 1(again i believe it's a faulty unit). If wireless, I would go for wireless 2.

So, is it worth to buy m100 if they can be about the same with wireless 2 if I use a proper amp for a desktop use. The price is almost the same "used" and wireless 2 can be wireless. a big plus. I dont need another desktop headphones since I have hd800.Gonna get good recommendations from you guys.

edit: this is going to be my EDM, eletronic, music main headphones.

For EDM and such, I pick the Wirless 2. With bright I mean the higher frequencies, but it's not shouty. Quite a few people at my work have the Vmoda Crossfades 1 and 2, along with the Sony WH-1000XM3. Good stuff. But only your ears can be the judge.

Is there anyone here knows about the difference between vmoda m100 and wireless2? Im about to buy any of these two for bass fun.

I heard wireless2 once before at bestbuy and kinda like it. Not sure how does it compare with m100.
wireless 2 has more build problems than m100.

go with m100.

I'm looking for portable headphones (not a full size, which what I asked an advice for Cascade).

According to these reviews, those who return most often are:

Skullcandy Crushers,

Sony MDR-XB950/B,

Audio-Technica ATH-M50x,

V-Moda Crossfade,

Sony WH-1000XM3 Wireless,

And you ? What do you think ? Are you agreed with these list ?

Which offer the deepest and punchier bass ?

Thx.
dude your choice is m100 vs ws1100is for closed back for that price range of $120.

xb950 has wretched durability...crushers are bad i returned them; the bass cuts off, not to mention durability not so hot either.

Hi what about the Yamaha HPH 500 Pro vs V-Moda Crossfade M-100 ?

What's the difference ? Did anyone make a comparison ?

Thx.
yea, one will break if you look at it wrong, and one wont.

M100 is dope, and is rugged but the Yamaha sound 10x better. I have had mine for like 4 years and still rocking. Easily top 5 in moving paper. Just youtube the paper challenge video from Pro 500. It was actually moving more paper then everything but the SZ's. Same as my XB950B2017 headphones. Have had them 2 years no problems. Bought them because they are BT kings of bass. Nothing thumps harder and they EQ like a Mofo.

People just need to learn how to take care of their Schiit.

Pardon if the question has been asked before, but of the crowd favorites what is considered good for more "on-the-go" listening? Have a pair of super old ATH-M50s and currently have a MDR-1AM2 that I like pretty well, but would be curious as to what folks think would be a good step up but still portable.

Hey Guys somebody here that can help me out ? I really am trying to find a replacment for my ath pro700mk2 and since im on this thread i love bass and feeling it in my headphones. the reason why im looking for something new is because i can't wear them for an extended amount of time they hurt my ears. i tried multiple different pads but they alter the sound too much and dampen the bass which i don't like! i tried the yamaha ones on this list but i didn't really enjoy the sound signature. And i really want the th900 but they are like 1600 where im from so i just need a pair under 300$ to get by till i save enough for my dream pair. Anyone can make any suggestions ?
