The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")

Thanks, these are off the hook good. The bass is looser than x00, but to me punches harder than x00 from memory. I'll have to compare to atticus and eikon when I get them. Are the connectors 2.5mm to the drivers?

I was secretly sure the iDSD BL was going to distort them. Don't care cuz i love having a Subwoofer company headphone but I was sure it would...and it didn't.
Love em. Got 2 different balanced cables now and use it for over ear listening and testing.

Finally took a look at that massdrop deal.

the deal is for either a amp or a dac/amp. don't know why cayin didn't have 2 different names for 2 different products but make sure your getting what you want. The amp has 800mw, the dac/amp has 300mw but comes with a dac. The one you would want for shear power is amp only.

Cayin C5 off massdrop can be done as either DAC only or DAC/Amp

Yeah, as everyone stated above, the only options are the amp by itself, or the amp/dac combo. I want power so I got the amp by itself ... Nearly a 500 mW difference. I heard the Cayin DAC being finicky at times and not working.

I'll take a look at the schiit but I was thinking maybe one that doesn't have its own power i/o so I'm not turning off like 5 different devices every time i turn off my computer at home. Any suggestions on ones that are just connected and always on?

Hello I'm rather new to Headfi. I was just wondering if anyone has tried both the Schiit Magni 2/Uber and the Ifi iDSD/BL and what their impressions on both of them are. I just want to have a very thought out idea on which one to purchase since I just got my SZ2000's.
