Buds have become mainstream!! Lol. Pavane review, although he starts the video talking about how he thinks NiceHCK EBX25Ti is the one of the worst sounding products he's ever reviewed.....

He says and shows NiceHCK EBX21, not EBX25Ti however

By the way, did you finally glue the driver to shell in your Yinman 600? Or are you using micropore tape on the outer diameter?

I ended up using @sapporo444's hint of "supergluing" the pieces. The key was using a needle in order to apply the glue more precisely. But still, there was a lot of residual left.

Nothing that a donut foam cannot cover, though.

Has anyone figured out how to replicate that bud?
I've tried to replicate that buds, but sadly i failed.
From the pic, i assume it's the Qigom 600 ohm driver. I've talked to Qigom a few weeks ago and yes, they've worked with Longyao.
Anyhow, i want to replicate it so i bought the pair of drivers. I also have the real Yinman 600 2.0 LE next to me.
During testing and measuring, i found that the drivers used in the Yinman has wayyyyy better subbass extension. Way better. My of the shelf pair has little subbass in comparison.
And no, it's not because of the bass tube system in the shell or anything. I've measured raw drivers (dont ask me how lol) and the Yinman driver showed the same subbass extension. The mids and treble remains the same.
So i can conclude, from my part, the drivers used in the Yinman are custom to some degree.
Maybe it's my drivers that are faulty? Maybe. But my pair has perfect channel balance so i doubt it's faulty on my part.

You know very well how much the shell can influence the sound

I do. That's why i measured the Yinman driver without its shell. It shows better subbass extension that the off the shelf Qigom 600 drivers

1746166485235.png This screwable type of Moondrop Pavene's cable adapter is awesome. I wonder whether it is available to buy.

So far I only found something like this, but the implementation is not as neat.

EDIT: found something like this, but the pricing is insane for what it is...

How does the nightingale diy bud sound compared to tgxear buds?
Depends on which TGXEar buds you're interested in?

Not the same, thats a pop/friction fit version which is the worst version.

Screw on versions do exist, but in small quantities cost you 40-60usd depending on the manufacturer per set!
