I think that with all the rubber bands, velcro and what not, keeping our DAPs and amps stuck together, "ugly" is a regular occurrence for us.
(And sometimes a huge understatement)

heh, I do the same thing... or at least I always keep a plastic bag and a rubber band or a tie wrap in by back pocket in case it rains. It isn't ugly though! Style follows function
