Where are the actual review of all these? All i can see is their pictures and name in here...This thread is dedicated to Tom (@HungryPanda), our friend and fellow earbuds lover that we lost to COVID-19.
Please DO NOT PM me for any question.

I’m not OP, so my guess based on OP’s wording would be that they displayed the earbuds as a form of tribute, and sometime after that, earbud owners gathered in solidarity. Then the focus shifted and the thread title got changed. I’ve only been posting here for maybe a month or two now so this is pure speculation.Where are the actual review of all these? All i can see is their pictures and name in here...

No long reviews. He used to have a ranking list but too many people couldn't let it be. So it was removed. (As it was his personal ranking, why should someone else get to decide it for him?)
The OP no longer posts in this thread because of similar issues iirc.
Totally correct. People can be so callous and stupid sometimes. No long reviews. He used to have a ranking list but too many people couldn't let it be. So it was removed. (As it was his personal ranking, why should someone else get to decide it for him?)

The weekend begins, the last project finished, and this one already has a name: Ibis.
400 graphene was my first DIY, the first driver I bought and the first bud I built, the sound of this one was meh, but enough to know that this sound would always be in my collection.

A year ago I made the version totally to my liking that accompanied me until a few weeks ago.

400 Ohm is not a sound for everyone, it has a very analog tonality, weak bass, and it must be added that it is very difficult to adjust, I have found myself looking to get the best out of the mids and ruin the entire top part, for give an example. It is very very sensitive to any change.
A few weeks ago I was talking to @ian91 about this driver, as I found it curious that he likes 400 Ohm (he has one or two Blur buds), saying that it's rare that anyone else likes this sound.
We hyped each other (I don't add anything else) and the idea of trying to improve what we already like arose.
After about five million combinations, here is the result! All that remains is to give it a few long long listening sessions... and then think about the final finishes!
Although it's a DIY, I'd like to tell you this story in the thread... I don't have any great comments to make related to bud purchases.

The Ibis - named after the Egyptian diety Thoth depicted with the head of the ibis. He was the supreme scribe and compiler of knowledge. This model uses a graphene driver - graphite being used for thousands of years for recording on surfaces. A bit of a convoluted connection but it was just a bit of fun!
It's a special driver in my view and it's great to share in your excitement for it. Your build looks great.

No, there was no written up formal review, nor even mini-review, for all those pictured. But many of them were indeed discussed in this here Head-Fi thread; over on the Earbuds Anonymous group on Facebook; and over on the Chinese language audio server erji.net.so nobody has the actual reviews?![]()
I finally got organized with a Bisley 5 drawer cabinet. There are optional plastic inserts with different partition sizes which helps to organize bigger and smaller items, works great for earbuds, IEMs, etc. Bisley is a UK company, so folks from UK might be familiar with the brand.Mirror post from the WC. I found an acrylic earbud display case from Muji to organize my earbuds.
TGX Ripples, Totem, Sunniva
Desolation Sound, Serratus
Right case: Sun Copper (On Loan), Asura 3.0 FE (on loan), Yinman 600 (on loan), Fiio FF3, Berseker 2, Val Lazybuds (on loan)
About the display stand: It is transparent and opens like a drawer from both sides. It seems to have enough space for earbuds and its respective thinner cables. Link to it

I like this. Clean, protected and heavy duty. I opted for the acrylic boxes. If my approach proves straining from a marital perspective, I will go for the Bisley.

If you get into strife with the wife, you can always keep yours as is and get a pink Bisley (they offer 6 or 7 colors) for your wife so she can hide her stuff, lol.

it is most coincidental that as the topic of storage comes up, AliExpress gives me a very relevant recommendation: a keyboard palm rest that is hollowed out for storage purposes.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005622531741.html?gatewayAdapt=Msite2Pc
I’ve ordered one for my partner. I would get one for myself, but I use a split keyboard so I’m thinking of ways to neatly DIY two separate containers-cum-palm rests.

So is there any buds that is the upgrade of EB2S Pro. Same tonality but better stage and other technicalities.
