This one goes to...

FitEar MH334.

There's something I cannot put my finger on, but damn it sounds musical.

The Ultimate Ears In-ear Reference Monitor isn't shabby too, nothing is over emphasised.

UM Pro 30 for universals.

I'm pretty limited on universal offerings, I've only tried a handful of them.

Fitear 333, love its sound sig, it may not be the the best BA CIEM out there but it sure is special. Saving up for one, boy my wallet is gonna die again.

XBA-1 fitted with V-moda Vibrato tips. Most non-fatiguing, noise blocking, comfortable IEM I've had. Perfect beauty. So, XBA-1 >>>>>> W4 + IM03 + UM3X + X10 + PFE 012.

XBA-30 doesn't qualify as an IEM

For a pure BA earphone, definitely the Fitear Parterre.

Just tried the FitEar c435, It's in its own league, the sound stage is unreal and the sense of space, damn man...

New best for me, the FitEar C435.

Here goes the list:

C435 > UERM/MH334 > W30/Private 333/UM Pro 30 > JH13fp/UE11 > IM70 > JH16fp

Still can't get over the boomy bass of the JH16fp.

What did the C435 set you back?

Ah I did it again, I've forgotten to mention it's the store's demo set.

It cost 2.6 grand SGD, which is about 2079.50 USD(1SGD=0.80USD).
I can never justify that much for a CIEM, but damn did it blew me away, in terms of the sonic signature and the price, of course.

Ck100(out of a htc m8)>=pfe232 (amped)>se535 LTD-J + Effect Audio Thor Copper>se535 LTD-J>=pfe232 (unamped)=Ck100(iPod Touch 4G)>>>Klipsch X10, you may notice that the Ck100 is either one of good or bad, this has been noted by a few reviewers and yes they are that source dependent, this may be seen as a sign of transparency, but it also describes the reason why many people give them a bad wrap, I`m a big fan of the Ck100 and hate to see this as they have the potential to sound much better than equivalent ba earphones and actually have a great deal of detail that I`ve yet to experience from any other earphone even my ie800`s. However out of my cirrus apple devices, which are known to be bright, they sound rather horrid, still good, but there`s a harshness that some would call a metallic tinge that ruins the smooth but forward mids and destroys the balanced bass, tipping it from the verge of not enough to not enough and hastening the already fast decay, the highs remain nice however. Just had to get that out, apologies for the rant, but definitely worth a look, even though they are hard to obtain.....
