Headphones you regretted buying the most

For me I have to say Sennheiser HD280Pro, none of my music seems to come alive with it, not to mention it was pretty uncomfortable.

AD700 - Bought for gaming and quickly returned them...blah!
DT990 - Can I get some mids?
DT770 - Flabby and can I get some mids?

Does Beyer ever know this part of the frequency range exists?

I can agree that the 250 ohm beyers may not be the best at balanced, but the 600 ohm versions are hard to beat! The DT770/600s are the most balanced closed headphones that I've ever heard and my current favourite closed cans (and this is coming from a former very happy D7000 owner).

The DT880/600s are among the best of the "former flagship" headphones for balance as well. I don't understand why beyer even manufacturers the 250 ohm variants?

Senn 228 - cable kept breaking every 1-2 months, already sent it for 5 services and still refuses to work properly after a month
Senn 202 - rubbish cans, muddy and over-empowering bass, loaned it to my friend.
ATH-ON3 - fashionable with dreadful comfort and poor sound, returned em to store the same day

I know I already replied, but I have been looking for gaming phones and got the HD555 today. Most overrated pile of trash I have come across. Sennheiser should be ashamed for selling these for more than $50-$75.

The 880/600 is on my list to try, but I feel the low end is going to let me down. I am sure I will hear the deep lows, but is there any impact? My HD580 gives me just enough of everything, but I wish it was slightly more detailed and the bass extended a little lower.

Sennheiser HD590's (Do I even have to tell you why?)
Sony V900 (600?)HD's (Maybe I didn't amp them properly, but I could never eq them right...)
But the cans I own now, I love them all, even the triports.

Grado 225i - for its suckage in every genre and comfort with terrible bass

Sennheiser HD 595 for its misleading ability to sound good, great big soundstage, but terribly accurate, I got stabbed countless times in CODMW2 because I couldnt pinpoint anything

Yuin Pk3 - Sony has similar buds for $20 at FYE that are identical in sound and ability.  Sennheiser MX580s are vastly superior and cheaper than the PK3.  Incredibly overrated set.

Shure 440 - Terrible in every way but the bass.  Infinitely different from its big brother the 840 which could be the best value and closed back in existence.

JVC buds, some people on here once claimed they were über awesomest and definitely 1000000% better than Yuin PK3 and PK2. So of course I had to buy them since I really liked the PK3s and PK2s, and wanted something cheaper for use with a cheap portable player. Unfortunately they sounded like crap, very grainy presentation, bad extension, very little detail and so on.

Westone 3: I've tried about two dozen different tips with them (by Westone, Shure, Etymotic); no way to correct their shortcomings which are lack of low bass, midbass hump, some sibilance and at the same time limited extension of high frequencies (cut off at 14kHz), and worst of all: sucked out mids. Some instrumental music sounds quite ok with them but they just can't render vocals right.

Shure 530: The mids are the best thing about them. No wonder as there are no high frequencies to speak of.

Audio Technica ATH-EW9 (not ESW9): Great looking and terribly sounding clip-ons. It's all just mids and even these are veiled.

Headphile woodied closed HD650. While they really did look the piece the sound ended up strange and they still were not proper closed so leaked a lot.
