Earbuds Round-Up

Hey... Is that the Once upon Audio buds?
Nope, they're diy buds I built. Are the Once upon Audio buds made by a company or individual bud maker? The shells and drivers are available from AE.

Edit: The same shells have also been used by other DIYers to build buds as well.

Edit#2: Nevermind, I did a google search and found their facebook. I guess they are a boutique bud maker / seller.

Um.... I am not sure, just not sound from head. May be horizontally?
Budget? TGXEAR Serratus is probably the widest I've heard, and that's 150-200 USD depending on used Vs new

hmmm, does anyone know about ceramic drivers ?

Got it DLC drivers:

The sound is slightly softened, smooth, but lacks zest. In my opinion, it is expensive and does not justify its price. I didn’t like the official store - there are rude managers there who say that they are busy and will not answer questions (I asked about the driver that I found on their Facebook).
Where did you contact the OEM? When I put out an RFQ (request for quote) for headphone drivers they actually approached me offended I didn't go for them on alibaba. I heard aliexpress is better, but yes they are...not good. Its somewhat a common theme with dealing OEM's from what I have seen. Just something needing to get use to haha.

As for drivers, not my favourite one. I have a few "good ol reliables" such as a foster clone driver. Thick low end, nice highs and just a very enjoyable experience.

Under US1500 is ok.
Thanks let me search it.
1500usd isn't really needed for earbuds haha! They're very versatile for price to performance, but I've seen Yincrow RW3000 or their latest RW-4000 has been very well received.

The TGXears Serratus is a lovely introduction to earbuds for good stage too, I would give it a shot! Its available on his website under TGXears.

What? No no
The Red Serratus is the same as OG Serratus. It's still being made. Ask Jim the maker on instagram

YES!
They answered me the same thing, and showed offense because why did I contact them with questions a year ago if I didn’t buy anything (what?).
