I have the 150 Ohm also, but don't listen to them for a long time. Have to check itCompletely agree - love my Yinman 600s. Very unique set and given their obscure purchase method and fall back to non-detachable cabling it’s a testament to the SQ that they have become such a dark horse of the community.
Does anyone know how the lower impedance version stacks up?

No, it looks like you could be right and I am the one mistaken, though the heading doesn't say 2.0... Do let us know?! I am curious to know the answer to this question. You might take a look at @ WoodyLuvr's timeline sheet because I think that these 150ohm Yinmans have been out for some time now (not the newer version), but I could be mistaken about this also.Ohh maybe I am mistaken then as I thought these were the same Yinman 2.0 but in a 150ohm instead of 600ohm variety. Will message the seller to check and will come back.

Edit: Having said that, asking them is going to be (really) the only way to know, because if you look at the pictures, they are all over the place. Some are long stemmed, some short. Some have removeable cables, some are fixed. SHEESH! lol

Congrats on your new shiny!
Do let us know your thoughts on these when you get them good and conditioned?!
Will do.
I took a quick listen before putting them on the burn in rig. Full foams, treble was relaxed, smooth mid-range with some warmth. Bassier than I expected, I'll have to try some tracks to see how extension is once it has some hours on them. And try some donut/offset donut foams.
I use emx500 driver, the sound focus on treble (without foam) but if want some bass, u need use big pore foam. Because standar pore will block the airflowWow, these look pretty cool! Can we get details on what drivers you used and what the tuning/sound is like?
Edit: Any info on the shell design and materials would be cool too.
The material i use is standar resin. Because this shell still prototype.. maybe next time i will make with "tough resin"
The design has 9 hole with 1 mm diameter near the driver. So if i use foam it will block all the vent. Maybe next time i will make bigger vent so if i want use foam, it will not block the air flow.
Heres how the fitting looks like on my ear
Vs mx500 shell
Vs Valsuki val39 shell (with some little modify the shell)
All this talk about the Yinmans on this thread has me seriously considering them when I’m ready to drop the big bucks on a pair of buds. The Yinman 600s are insanely good, very relaxing to listen to and I love the subbass extension. These are really like mini LCD-2Cs!

Nice! Keep me/us posted as you update and modify, please. Sounds like a cool project for sure. Are you planning on trying them with other drivers and tunings or is this more of a one off that you're making just to have one pair that you find very comfortable?

Feel like I am jumping on everyone’s bandwagon today but I will second @JAnonymous5150 - had these for about 3-4months now.
Green mamba certainly has a time and place and for what it does at that price it’s quite special. I weirdly find them pretty cool looking also. They definitely get looks when out.
It's all good, bro. Letting everyone know that you too have awesome taste in buds is the way to roll on this one. I think thr Green Mambas are pretty sick looking as well. They're like the supercar of earbuds, drawing all the looks as they roll on by. And, you're right, when the Viridis click with music they can do some special things that I haven't heard another bud match, to my ears. Definitely a specialist pair of buds, but that specialty can be oh so sweet!

You just need a powerful source, and audio nirvana (AKA Eargasm) will be guranteed with the Yinmans.

Whoa, I think Shanling is also getting into the earbuds game! They are asking people to vote for their favorite design.
Very cool!! Careful with resin for the final product though, prolonged contact with resin can cause rashes and irritation even when it's curedI use emx500 driver, the sound focus on treble (without foam) but if want some bass, u need use big pore foam. Because standar pore will block the airflow

I'm making some earbuds myself too, a 13mm aliexpress biodynamic driver

Wow, what a unique shell shape! Is there any practical reason for the fluted stem and such or is it just for looks (it does look pretty cool)? Also, how has working with that 13mm bio driver been? It's a smaller size that most of the drivers I have seen used in DIY buds so I'm just wondering if you've found any pros and cons compared to the more mainstream larger sizes.
You should be able to properly drive these with something that is capable of 1W @32ohms; assuming that the amp is linear in its power output. So just make sure you have roughly 80mW and 11.5mA @600ohms (though to cover voltage swing, I would normally double that number to 160mW).All this talk about the Yinmans on this thread has me seriously considering them when I’m ready to drop the big bucks on a pair of buds.
Having said that, these still sound very good straight from a phone (though certainly not their best).

He's not playing with you. The different plastics all change the way the buds sound and it's measurably obvious. Clear shells tend to measure hottest in the treble and the opaque shells warmer, but there's definitely a gradient.I have no idea if you're playing with me or not, but I'm gonna play it safe and just get the red ones. Lol

The driver has above average bass with the stock tuning. It's deep and tight like the voice of Barry White in the night, but it always has that treble resonance. It's less irritating stock. The way the bass bang, the treble do the same. Bump the bass, you bump the treble and the upper midrange. From what I've measured and heard, that stock bud is likely closer to neutral than the measurably peaky Serratus, but is likely missing a proper ear canal resonance that the Serratus should and measures to have. No free lunches when adulting. There was a page for US $36.10 earbuds using the same driver as TXGEar Serratus.
According to the review, unlike the TXGEar Serratus, it seems to be a bass earbud...
