Where can you buy decent quality cable/wire that connect the left cup to the right cup? the cable is about 1mm wide and has two wires: red and gold with clearish threads inbetween each colored wire. Would radio shack have good quality wires like this? or does it not matter?

Well, I just got my E2C for 60 shipped and wow.....awesome isolation BUT the sound quality is not as good as my A500, but it's not fair (yet) since they haven't had the same burn in time. So, what I'm asking is: for those who have had the E2C for a period of time, did you notice an improvement...

I think when the company says that they are selling a "brand new" product, theyre selling a unopened never used product or they would be facing lawsuits pretty soon. If you buy products from respectable companies, you have a higher chance of not receiving...

Get the ER4S, use the $40 on the amp. By the way, what amp are you getting?

Why don't you check out the Triports out for yourself? Local Bose and Apple stores should carry them, maybe Bestbuy. They sound ok, but like people say, its overrated. My A500 sound a lot better and provide great isolation.

$200 for an earbud is not tempting... maybe if it was an in-ear canal phone it would be interesting to see them to go out against the e4rs
