Can anyone name me a few of these types of songs?
What I'm looking for is that electric guitar solo, energetic, "fight" music. You know, the type when the main character of a movie's about to confront a gang for a 1 on 10 fight, or his arch nemesis?
It doesn't really have to be a guitar solo, but you know what I'm referring to?
I'd like to know a few of those songs... they get me so pumped up and sometimes, the mood calls for such songs

Thanks in advance

Not sure what youre asking for.... a certain "style" of music / guitar playing?... or just a personal preference?

Tunes that get me pumped
Van Halen- Mean Street, On Fire, Hot For Teacher, their first LP
Dreamtheater - The war inside my head, YTSE Jam, Home
David Lee Roth - Tobacco Road, Shyboy
Iron Maiden - Just about anything
Metallica - Master of Puppets, Sanitarium, Fade to Black, Seek & Destroy, For Whom the bell tolls
Yngwie Malmsteen- Valley of th Kings, Gates of Babylon, Rising Force
Queensryche - Queen of the Reich, Eyes of a stranger, Empire
Rush - Spirit of Radio, Red Barchetta, YYZ, Subdivisions

Maybe, Hardcore? Death-Metal? They're not all guitar solos...but I'm pretty sure they'll pump you up.

EYE OF THE TIGER.

But that aside, try "The Distance" by Cake, or "Song 2" by Blur.

That was Tom Morello? I thought that was DJ Scratching! Very impressive!

Sorry to OT, but this reminds me of that part in the movie Dirty Work. The part where they are about to get into a bar fight and Chris Farley (R.I.P.) goes to put The Rolling Stones "Street Fightin' Man" on the jukebox, but instead he plays that Pina Colada song. LOL!

"Looks like there's gonna be a brawl. Better play something good."

"HELL YEAH! Rolling Stones! Street Fightin' Man! Geeee SEEVON!!!!"

"You just pressed G8."

*Rupert Holmes' "Escape (The Pina Colada song)" starts playing*

Oh man, that was funny.
