Can an Open Headphone be better than say....UE10 Pro and Why or Why Not?
Once again, Hornet does HD650 justice. I did a lot of listening comparing hornet with so called high end amps that have good synergy with HD650 and you wont be disappointed. Some peoples expectations here are set way too high. So you get things such as "oh hornet wont do them justice, nonsense...- Suzuka

Can an Open Headphone be better than say....UE10 Pro and Why or Why Not?
Hornet drives HD650 beautifully and you might like the portability bit whenever you are on the go with your portable setup. If you want something substantially(meaning, not very noticeable anyway) better, your 1k wont be enough. My advice is to get Hornet HD650 and cables. I assume you have a...- Suzuka

Which headphones should I get?
Is there really a good reason for you to get closed? As for Senn HD280, they are comfortable to wear for long period of time, at least on my head.- Suzuka

Vegetarian headphones?
IMO, Vegetarians are big hypocrites, if you were a true vegetarian, you'd lay down and die. Unless you can obtain sufficient nourishment from rocks.- Suzuka

Test your headphone/ear/PC
39 is where I actually could tell the difference, guessed further down. But guessed 2 correctly but wont go lower number because those were pure guesses. HD650 X-fi and a cMOY amp in relatively noisy environment, pc, fan and ac.- Suzuka

Gaming Headphone
Guys he said that he already has HD650. Reading is good ;p. Unless you really, really can't live without the phone being closed and no amp. Don't get 900, because all you will do is downgrade and waste around 190$. All being said and done, even IF A900 was a slight a upgrade for gaming. Does...- Suzuka

Gaming Headphone
HD650 is way better than ATH-A900 for gaming, or at least fps, not too mention music. I tried ATH with same environemt as 650 before and even with my cMOY amp there was pretty big difference in 650 favor. x-fi card F.E.A.R. with sound sets on max- Suzuka

An upgrade from the HD 650s
HD650 are considered to have a very nice sound stage for an open can. Is there even such a closed magical headphone that can come close to HD650 sound stage at all and under 400$? ;p- Suzuka

Test your hearing
I did pretty bad on pitch and avg on others, but I have very noisy environment. Will try to do it with IEMs later. And having tinnitis probably doesn't help much with pitch test, lol. With IEM's pitch went from 20 to 1.5, tonedeaf went to 85%, rhythm 90%. /shrug rhythm kind of high. Weird.- Suzuka

HD650 Questions
You can get 650s and get a cMOY amp, they are cheap and do very nicely until you can get something better. My cMOY drives my HD650 beautifully, I have done comparisons with some other nice amps vs cMOY and while there was some difference between the amps, honestly cMOY performed almost same as...- Suzuka
