THere are pretty good discounts on amazon.jp on many audio technicas currently.
Or purses...
I just bought another pair of hps too, Technical Pro HPT990 aka Takstar HI2050... which is getting shipped to my work address.
Yeah... I think you didn't read all of my post.
If I replace them myself, I have the risk of ripping out the inards, which will cause further trouble regarding the warranty. Plus I have to buy some Comply tips, say 10-20€. Moreover, the warranty will terminate in about eight months, and the IEMs have already been used for 15 months.
If I return them, I'll receive a 125€ refund. Together with the savings of the Comply tips, I'm at about 140€. If I could find a new pair, with further 24 months of warranty, for said 140€, it would be much preferrable, don't you think so?

My gut so no to these Sennheiser IE80 on ebay (Too good to be true). But how can these guys manage to get 100% positive feedback all the time if they are fake IEMs?

I don't know much about fakes, but would the packaging be faked as well as the accessories and phones themselves? Seems like a lot of trouble, but when making money is involved, I guess anything is possible...
Has anyone here bought fake earphones? Is it possible to buy fakes, and not even realize it because they were such a good copy?

Those are regular prices. In fact, in the two years since SE215's debut, it has NEVER went over $99. And it goes below $99 quite often.
Please know what you are posting and at least do some research. Sites like camelcamelcamel, or just a google shop search, would help a great deal (no pun intended).

I just did a review of the HPT990 over in the Takstar thread. I love the sound and build quality of these. I see you have the Somic too. That'll be an interesting pair to compare to.
Speaking of Shures, there are a few returns on headphone.com for amazing deals imo.
