UE SuperFi 5's, $40. Don't know how legit this is though, they're no longer listed on UE's website, just the vi's.

They've just been renamed the UE600. $40 is a very good deal for someone looking for a hugely mid-forward earphone with good resolution and decent detail/clarity.

The J&R NYT Sunday full page ad has the Senn IE7 for $119 (the ad comes out on Saturday with the pre=printed entertainment section). They are advertised at $159 here, but the ad in the TImes for Sunday says $119. Someone might be able to get the price ahead of time by calling, or call Sunday.

$119 is a great price from an authorized dealer. I know JR will often quote a lesser price if you call & ask. Technically, they're not allowed to publicly advertise the more-discounted prices on their website.

UE is dumping their stuff(yeah I know this word is only used when international trade is involved but I can't seem to find a better word). They make money on customs and they already have a huge sum of money(Logitech) and they're dumping universals on the market.

Look at amazon triple fi, do you think that could happen without Logitech behind their back funding all that loss (or near zero margin)?
