    Looking for ideal gaming/trance cans

I'd have to say that the Senn's are very comfy for gaming. I use both my HD515 and my HD555 for gaming and use a Logitech mic for Vent or TS. I prefer to use my Total Bithead amp for the Headphone sound than the internal soundcard on the computer though so I have to make sure the input and...

Less than 65$ headphones, which ones are the best.

I like my SR60's, the first set of SR60s I bought didn't make it home with me. this guy I work with liked them so much he bought them off me before I went to lunch. So I had to wait till I saw another pair in head-fi to buy.

small ears - recommended IEMs or earbuds

I like the Er6i, although the Er6 look smaller. I haven't tried the ER6, I do know that the E2c is kind of uncomfortable to me.

What set of cans, or IEM's, have you had the longest?

HD515's I got them just under a year ago because the price was right (far less than the $100 retail)

How loud do you have your IEM's volume at?

My Er6i's are usually about 12-15 of 20 on my Forge.

Newb with iPod earbuds. Desperately need help.

I agree with W1ned Quote: My vote says run. And never look back. Although I have not spent as much as others around here, this place has taken its toll on my wallet. Welcome to head-fi, sorry about your wallet!!

Just Got my ER-6I and Shure E2c ...

Well, I have both and the Er6i just gets much more play time. The E2c has a bunch more bass to me, however the Er6i fit bettter to me and I don't mind that they have less bass. In fact, I think my friend is going to be keeping my E2c's, I let him "borrow them" but I don't expect them back...

All I can say is that I feel very bad for you... even losing one of my headphohnes or IEM's would really make me upset. I hope your quest works out.

    wireless lan users???

Personally If you are that paranoid but need to go wireless, get a good wireless like the SonicWall TZ170W or even the Watchguard Firebox X15W, with these you can set up a VPN tunnel betweeen your computer and the wireless router. Here is an example from Zyxel: VPN Tunnel The Sonicwall and...

    Headphoes to fall asleep in

I have a hard time sleeping with IEM's. I can sleep with my HD515's though. They are very comfortable. I got them for like $65-$70 or something, it was a 1 time deal, brand new from a big box retailer.

Some help on the Etymotic ER-6is

Make sure you have them in correctly before you do anything else, it took me a little bit to get it right. The ER6i's don't have a lot of bass, but it is there, if you have a good seal. Edit By the way, now that you have a pair of IEM's you may start thinking about how the UE10's sound, I...

Can the Shure E2c stand up to the Etymotic ER6i??

That is a question of personal taste. I own both the E2c, and the ER6i, and I enjoy both of them. For me the ER6i's are more comfortable and have a better overall sound. The E2c's are not quite as comfortable, however they have much more bass and depending on what I am listening to this sounds...

Who else prefers the Etymotics over the Shures?

I can only speak of the ER6i's and the E2c's and I like them both, however the Ety's have just a little more in comfort for me and that will sway me to the Ety's. Depending on how I feel is what I will listen to, but I find that my Ety's get a bit more listening time.

    Greetings Head-Fi

I thnk that is what keeps me from selling the E2C's, I like the clarity and the detail of the ER6i's, yet sometimes I just have to have the bass of the E2c's. I bought a lot of stuff from the buy and Sell forums here to keep costs down, but my wallet is still hurting.
