Philips HP1000 headphones & Amp recommendation

HP-1000 are pretty hard to drive, i use my audigy2 zs to drive them, and i can push the bass as far and low as i wish without any kind of distortion or clipping, so the audigy2 is powerfull enough, if i use the hp1000 on my mp3 player or my laptop, i wil have very little bass and i can't boost...

    Beginnner headphones ~ $60 - $ 100

mozillion you might want to consider the philips HP890 they wil cost around 70-90 euro's but they outmatch easily almost every headphone in that class and higher. and the best is that they are easy to get in holland.

Headphone with very large huge soundstage

HD595 has farrrrr less soundstage imho but they are a bit more refined, both headphones are very competetive next to each other but i prefere the hp1000 over the 595 becouse it is more comfortable to me and has the best soundstage there is for a 100-250 euro headphone. anyways my head is quit...

My final thoughts on the 555s...

Jup the only decent creative card is the audigy 2 (the 1 sucks) but even better would be to go with an m-audio soundcard. but in this case the missing bass is becouse of the very poor sblive

    Headphones for PC

As a dutch guy i would recommend the philips HP1000 (around 150). But it depends on were you are living becouse they are very hard to get in the usa, otherwise i would go for the audio technica 500, of perhaps the sennheiser 555.
