Help me find a freaking AWESOME case/bag for - Sansa Clip+, ER4 Custom mold
I'm looking for a case that can keep my sansa and er4 with custom mold in place. This will be hooked to my pants most of the time. I Before I dump 300 bucks in an LV Wapity case, can someone show me something smaller, lighter, and cheaper that is fashionable yet functional?- kin0kin

I like HD600 and K701, had ER4 - What IEM do I buy now?
Haven't been on head-fi for awhile, in fact I've given up on headphone for awhile but circumstances have changed again and I'm looking to pick up a pair of IEM. I had the er4p(or s, can't remember) and although I liked it very much bass wasn't quite there. I currently still have my hd600...- kin0kin

Anybody in Toronto/GTA with a Lavry DA-11 and/or DAC-1? Like to do a comparison
Hey folks, anybody in the GTA has either one or both of them? I'd like to audition them. The last time I compared the DAC-1 and DAC-10, the DAC-1 had more depth and body to it while the DA-10 was more articulate but with less depth. I'd like to see how the latest revisions of these dacs sound. A...- kin0kin

Home Theater Speakers recommendation?
I was thinking of going Quad for HT: Quad 21L2/22L2 Front Quad L2 Center Quad 12L2 Surround (ignore the sub for now) But I was wondering what other options do I have? The Quads are surprisingly good compared to many speakers I've heard. Paradigm and PSBs don't even come close...- kin0kin

What speakers sound like HD600, but with cleaner midbass/lower mid range?
I've heard a lot of speakers throughout the last few weeks but none of them sounded like the 600s. I'd think the Focal Electra 1000 Be sounded pretty close, but the mid range to mid bass is warmer than the 600s and the bass is not as well controlled. Speakers heard: - Focal Alto Utopia Be...- kin0kin

Pelican cases - 1504/1524
I just noticed that these cases are relatively cheap in comparison to some of the camera backpacks. I'm looking at the pelican 1502/1524, they run about 180usd MAX. Being water proof, dusts proof, high impact resistance, and chemical proof <200 bucks for a case seems to be a very good deal...- kin0kin

Photography-fi: DIY Grey Card for poor people (20 cents)
I made an 18% grey card using photoshop, setting the color to 18% CMYK, filled a 4X6" frame and had it developed using kodak royal paper - matt. It was actually developed from Walmart. This is what 18% gray should show on histogram - middle ground: Here's what I got from the DIY card...- kin0kin

Smoke scent filter - Is there such a thing?
It's summer, I've gotta leave my window fan on and it is sucking in smoke scent from outside occasionally. I don't smoke and don't want to be smoking "second hand". Is there something that I can install in my window (filter of some sort) that'd remove smoke scent? thanks- kin0kin

I hate it when they say "Attempted delivery" when in fact they did NOT
What's up with these delivery guys/mailman nowadays? they just blindly lie when they say that they attempted delivery when they just simply did not. This isn't the first time that this has ever happened. Many times I've been anticipating parcels at specific date and been there whole day since...- kin0kin

I'm currently located in Halifax, and contemplating moving to TO in the next 2 months. I've been to the city twice but most of the time we were at downtown, and once in Scarborough. While I've been waiting got 47stphoto to restock my backordered 150mm sigma, I'm contemplating getting the 105mm VR instead (which also seems to be OOS in many places now). CK2 III build problem.....
Ive built one for a friend and for some reasons the left channel has some odd problem. It would make really loud crackling sound after awhile (around 1 hour+/- of use). I've checked the bias and had purposely set it below 30mA (around 28mA) in case it was overheating but that wasnt the problem...- kin0kin
