I love my etys ..but I love me ck10's more. ..:)

I wouldn't mind owning the AT CK10 again, now that I have the X3 to bring up the bass.

People say it's lacking bass..I'm really not one of those people..I think once you get the proper fit..cause really they aren't the easiest iem to figure that out ..I actually tried these one day awhile ago and I was like ..eeew what the hell lol and really thought they sounded distorted..well I kept reading reviews on these and figure I want to try these again cause all these people reviewing these can't be wrong..well as I was reading this one guys review he kind said the same thing I was thinking about these when I first heard them..and he said how to out these in in his review..so I contacted the guy who had them for sale or trade ..that I wanted to try thrm again..this time I put thrm in my ears the rite way..cause looking at them the first time you wouldn't think that they would sit in your ears that way..anyeays once I figured them out it was like ...wow there it is..the bass hits pretty good..really tight and fast..and not lacking at all..maybe in the sub bass..but that's fine cause I'm not as bass head and the only time that I really want a lot of sub bass is when I'm watching a movie at home on my home stereo through my sub woofer..lol anyways once I got that fit rite they are keepers to say the least..I'm now thinking about selling my w4r's and my 535's because really for detail and stuff they can't hold a candle to the ck10 imo..I'm actually thinking about trying to find another pair ..somehow just to have in case these ones break ..but they seem to be way to expensive when you do find thrm..just cause they are discontinued people are taking advantage of that ..that's another story lol sorry for the long story but just wanted to share that. :)

Yes it's the extra accessories that make ER4PT better. ER4PT is like the 2 in 1 package, that's why the advantage. Soundwise the ER4 (ER4PT=ER4P/ER4S) series are the same....well, according to mine anyway

CK100Pro easily wins this followed BY TF10.
CK100Pro>>TF10>Westone 2=XBA-4>>>A151>PL50.

CK100Pros are very good, but it really comes down to what signature you prefer. Everyone has their own personal preference. Some will argue that the 100's are too bass light, TF10's has recessed mids, XBA-4 to much bass and so on.

Tralucent 1Plus2 (revised)
Rhapsodio RDB Mini / Tralucent 1Plus2 (first version) (depends on the DAP synergy which pulls away)
ER4S
Rhapsodio RDB v1
ASG-2
Vision Ears Stage 3
Astrotec AX60 / DN-1000 (close call)
T-Peos H-200
SM3 v2
Triple-fi 10 (needs silver plated cable to shine)
Westone 4
Westone 3

Many of those are hybrids, and somewhere in there Unique Melody 3X could be included, however it wasn't for me, unfortunately. There's a few others like Sony XBA-3, Vsonic GR01, Klipsch X10, R-50, B2, VC1000, H-100, however they're below the others listed and my list was becoming  a little carried away.

Best universal, AT's CK100 Pro.

Clieos, you've been a HUGE help in my iem search, so i'm curious how you like the ck100pro more than the pfe112 or er4s? How can you get past the treble spike?

Are you eliminating it somehow without eq?

I just replaced the filters in my ck10's cause I was getting a really channel imballance and figured that the filters were clogged. .I got these second and maybe even third hand so it's really hard to tell how much like wax build up there was cause really they are a few years old..anyways I put the green ety filters in and I now have perfect balance but loads more treble..it's actually quit neutrel rite now just seems like there is alot. More treble then there was..I'm not really sure if that's how they sounded out of the box..I'm starting to get use to it I guess.lol but with that comes so much detail it's crazy actually..as long as I get a really good seal they sound incredible. .I'm going to buy the red filters from Knowles and see how much it calms down the treble. .Knowles might actually even know what filters they used in the ck10. .I'm not sure I have the rite ones in there..so you can say that I have modded them lol does the 100 pro come with extra filters?

The short answer is, I never noticed any particularly nasty spike when I audition the CK100Pro, but it is not to say I don't find it to be bright sounding (which I am okay with). Could very well be the eartips that I used that day but I don't own the CK100 Pro I listened to and therefore can't repeat / confirm it for you.
