No, they're high ohm and hard to drive, sensitivity of 86db @ 1mW so they take a lot to get loud so kids don't go deaf listening on portable devices.

Actually a good idea! Too bad they don't have the appeal of Beats...

I couldn't even tell you what beats run. My 15 year old son wanted a pair of wireless beats this past X-Mas and he ended up with a pair of UE 700 and a clip zip instead of the beats. Why are the ue 700 so expensive now? I think I got them for under 100.

That's actually quite a great deal IMO.  They may be a tad bright for most people though, but great reproduction, as with most Etys, you'll get exactly what's in the recording.

Craftily worded sentence.

that is correct for all headphones, it just that the etys provide emphasis in some areas and leave out in others.  eg.  super bright highs, pale bleached mids, and no upper or lower bass for most ears.

Looks like the HF3 Etys are $99 at Amazon as well - maybe $20 less than usual - but not bad for a C-Note. (Cobalt)

Last year's HF3 for $60.00 at Cowboom has spoiled me. I want everything for practically free now.

I picked up one of these thinking it was a good deal. They arrived today and they don't work properly at all...pretty disappointing.

If they weren't as described, file a claim with amazon. Usually they will yield some sort of replacement or refund. They're customer service is pretty awesome!

I think spelling should count when calling others ignorant ......

Ha you're absolutely right! I'm usually the spelling police myself! Whoops

Mine just arrived today from the Amazon Warehouse and the shipment included everything, but the actual headphones.  I would chalk this up as if a deal seems too good to be true there's probably a reason.

Sorry for the discussion, but I wanted everyone to be aware.
