Audio-Technica goodies: ATH-EW9 (clip-on style phones with cherry wood earcups) on sale at Adorama for $139.95 with free shipping in the U.S.

Moshi Vortex $21.95 shipped

Hi everyone...I think this qualifies as a good deal. I had bookmarked this product page months ago when they were $30-something plus shipping, which was already a pretty big discount. Just going through my wishlist bookmarks I noticed the lower price. I'm really tempted but still haven't pulled the trigger. From the reviews I've read here on Head-Fi they have great build quality being metal, great quality tips (including a foamie) and a really neat case. they also look like they would work for side-sleeping on a pillow, another plus for me. The one really long review on here repeatedly emphasizes the lush forward mids, which is what I want - forward mids along with strong bass...I'm just not ready to make the investment in a dual BA which is probably what would really nail it for me.

Anyway just wanted to share...Peace
size]

ps who am I kidding I'm going to buy them (unless some more experienced headfier jumps on here quickly enough to say no no no don't do it they suuuccckk haha)

They wanted $33 in shipping to send to Canada, needless to say that stopped me from purchasing them on a whim LOL

Hey that seems like a great deal! I've never seen them that low, although I maybe wasn't watching used ones also. But it's reassuring that they're being sold by AWD. I don't LOVE on-ears but these are so well liked on here...it may be the time to try them :)

I hope you get a good one!

Edit - this was in reference to the M-80's. On my phone and the quote didn't come thru...kd

Wish I would've saw this before I picked up an openbox M80 on ebay. Could've saved a few bucks. Oh well.... I'm looking forward to trying these.
