apparently people are claiming if you go into Sony stores they will let you order it for 99.99 for a couple more days.

I wouldn't worry too much about it though since black friday next month will probably have similar deals, ie last year's x10 and TF10.  Futureshop had the X10i for $140 as final clearance about a week or so back as well.

Yes its confirmed Sony stores are price matching.. Here is the Official Reply by Sony online Ordering Center Cust care

Dear Nilay,

Thanks for shopping with Sony!

Sony wants you to shop with the knowledge that you are getting great products, great service and great value. When you buy from Sony your purchase is backed with a 30 day price assurance policy.

Future shop, Is that the same with future sound Tech?. I have provided the link below for the affiliated Sony Authorized dealers and Sony online Dealers. If the shop is included on the list Yes, we could do the price match. Just send us a scanned copy of a store flyer or a web link of an online store. Conditions for price matching are :

Items should be on the same model number.
Item purchased date not greater than 30 days.

For further details regarding www.store.sony.com price match policy, please click on the link below.

There are still a few Westone 2 phones available for $99 at the inmotion store at the San Francisco international airport. The site is in the international terminal, open to the public. They also had their demo Westone 4 for sale for $250.

AKG K450 (refurbished): $39.99 shipped, Amazon third party seller

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0028N78C0/ref=dp_olp_refurbished?ie=UTF8&condition=refurbished

Given the price, I was suspecting a fake, but I ordered one anyway and it looks authentic (when compared to online photos and descriptions detailing fakes), and it sounds good (in line with the other consumer AKG products I own). No retail box, but it does come in its original case with all accessories and paperwork and looks brand new. Who knows what the story behind these is because I'd never seen advertised a "refurbished" AKG before.

Just one reminder, as I know, there are many fake K450 in the market so just beware of that. Because some fakes nowadays can even copy the sound LMAO

Best,
