I'm sure one could argue their way out of a service denial. To begin with, one wouldnt mention what they did, since it isnt relevant to the claim they are making(unless they were very sloppy with the application). But if someone was to decide to spill the beans, they could argue how it wasnt worth the paying for shipping and waiting the long turnaround for something that should have been done right in the first place.
 
Still, my experience with Monster warranty has been very good. It wouldnt surprise me if they would issue a replacement even if you told them it had to be glued.

The HUKD post states these are 012 but I couldn't see that mentioned in the actual deal, but as this is their lowest end earphone it is the worst that you can get.
 
Seems a great deal to me, so have gone for it, plus you get 6 months of gadget magazine as well.

EDIT: If I recall correctly, last year during Black Friday / Cyber Monday there were many Sennheiser deals offered. Not sure if they'll do it this year as well, but it's something to consider if anybody wants some Senns for Christmas.
