I would be very surprised if this ever happens again now that Logitech owns the TF10. I believe the $99 was all that was left under UE ownership (marketing/packaging) sold in the eco box, which can still be purchased on fleabay for $150-200.

??  Logitech has owned UE for the past two years and they've done the $99 thing the past two years.

Doesn't make any sense. As far as I remember they've done it once or twice since Logitech bought UE.

They definitely did. I got mine last year for around $99 or so during one of those deals.

Got my $58 Aurvana In-Ear 2 from Amazon today. Have to say they are definitely worth the money. ER4-PT and UE 700 are still my fav IEMs but these are good for backup pairz.

Are the Aurvana 2 better than the Monster Turbine ($50 refurb) or the Brainwavz Beta?  I know the Brainwavs is a different class, but the reviews are all pretty good.  I'm also looking at the Nuforce NE-700x but that is the highest I'm willing to go.

Right.  Did anyone receive it in other than the eco, dark brown paper like UE box that doesn't have the word Logitech on it? I don't recall seeing "Logitech" anywhere on the box or the paper pamplets.  If they didn't have Logitech on them, all I'm saying is that it was probably from the UE stock, not Logitech.  If it did have Logitech, then I stand corrected.  Now that it's been two years, and Logitech controls all the UE distribution chain, I don't see Logitech discounting their universal $399 triplefi flagship to $99.   But if they do this year, and assuming Logitech happens to be the supplier on Amazon, third times a charm and congrats.  I'll sure be picking up a set or two.

Aurvana 2 is a bit slower and darker than the Turbines and Beta, so better for some genres and not as good for others. I'd recommend the Beta If you are on a budget and want a IEM that's good for most stuff. Just know that the Betas price has been as low as $14. $28 is still a good value, but MP4Nation's 50% off coupon made the Betas that much sweeter.
