I'm curious, and if it uses the Sonion from the X10 or the Knowles from the ER-4 then it's a real winner.
 
The PL50, K2 SP and RE0 (<- which ClieOS said was great value for $200) are pretty much my least favorite IEM's, so I must have different taste in sound than him or something, such is life.

 Going from the graph, that driver configuration makes sense. Also, that hat sonion must be vented inside like the SE530, to have such a response. 
 
ClieOS says the BA100 is mid centric, an A151 upgrade.

At $50 price point, you can get the A151 BA for $40 shipped.

They all but one liked the sound. Some didn't like in ears on first try and others complained about the short cable.

I don't get why those Amazon reviews get any importance, they all pretty much just complain about the cable's configuration which is similar to the FX700. If it were the FX700, it would get even more bashing because of their higher price and limited ergonomics. Our best bet is to go ClieOS and he says they're good at 110$, imagine how good they are at 50$. 
 

Looking at the case, I wonder if the ba100 has a Siren type BA.
