Please dun, dragonscale is very disappointing mediocre.I'm a sucker for a combo deal. I really want neither the Dragon Scale cable or the original NiceHCK F1, but it's in my cart

The Geekwold GK10S sports 1x BA, 2x piezos, and 2x DD. Certainly a very unique driver setup.
From initial listening impressions out of the box, this IEM is an L-shaped dark set, with a lack of treble air/sparkle, so this is well suited for treble-sensitive folks, but understandably, trebleheads need not apply.
It is much more musical than analytical, though soundstage is surprisingly wide and beyond the ears (not too micro-detailed or resolving as per the tuning choices).
Smooth set for chilling, tuning reminds me of a mini Final E5000, though easier to drive. Graph below, 8 kHz is a coupler peak.
Will do some burn-in and comparisons and report back.

Mr Postman just delivered the Oriveti OD200. Straight onto the burn-in DAP. Good unboxing. Beautiful metal, Army Green little units. Custom type design that fit exceptionally well. Very nice, good sized, excellent, real leather case. It has a very malleable, softer cable with 2.5mm 3.5mm 4.4mm interchangeable audio plugs. I immediately noticed the 3.5mm only put out one channel, but the 4.4m is working fine. I've got a spare, glitzy, Penon Vocal cable and some Penon Black 14mm tips that I will use after the stock cable. The OD200 is generally well reviewed so I'm looking for a good coherent DD after buying many hybrids. It will have to compete with the IMR Ozar, The KBear Believe, and IMR Bass Cannon 23, and IMR Dark Matter...of my DDs.
Can anybody point me to the main Oriveti thread?

I got it for 25$ on 11.11 but I struggle to like it no matter how hard I try. My library mainly has vocals and the softness/thiness EW200 brings is unique, but fails the male vocals. Planning to give it to someone at home.I'm on the lookout for a set that I'd be happy to listen to at work for extended periods of time which looks and feels good, and would not be too scared to leave it at work. EW200 might be the one. It's currently 40€ on AliX, though, not 20

Well cos I look for stage expansion for what I consider good cables and dragonscale do not sound open. I have better luck with ourlaura and aceorpheus. The outer black coating is very hard, which does not have a very pleasant feeling. The situation is different in terms of sound - everything is very dynamic and energetic

Solution would be to use local files and then a music player like neutron.I don’t have that luxury as I have an iPhone

But assuming you are streaming, you are out of luck. (might be some method if you jailbreak though.)

Am keen to hear what you think of it compared to the Ozar Have been tempted by all the praise for the OD200, so may be next on my purchase list, if offers something different/worthwhile.Mr Postman just delivered the Oriveti OD200. I'm going to give them a couple of days burn in. I know from my IMR days how long DDs can take to produce their best. I'm not patient enough to burn them in for a week solid without listening. Will have a proper listen on Thursday morning and come back with early evaluations.Am keen to hear what you think of it compared to the Ozar Have been tempted by all the praise for the OD200, so may be next on my purchase list, if offers something different/worthwhile.
Ugh, I don't need it, but wants it. Just got one.
Nice, we need more impressions on this one so I'm looking forward to what you guys think.

Got the clear case for the Hiby R6 Pro II.
Now I can actually handle it without accidentally changing tracks!
Other than the short battery life, my only real complaint about this DAP is the hair trigger on the track change features.
Problem solved!

I’m not going to go through all that trouble when I could just plug my headphones in. However, I still want true wireless IE 300s so I just ordered the TRN BT30. Crossing my fingers that this one doesn’t have the distortion issue.Solution would be to use local files and then a music player like neutron.

Nice and simple case that hopefully does the job in case the inevitable happens.Got the clear case for the Hiby R6 Pro II.

Regarding the buttons, I often misclick on my Fiio M15S too. But that's a minor nuisance compared to the fact that the rotating volume knob can be turned quite easily, even when the device is resting in your pocket. I nearly had a BIG oops moment a few days back. Never fun to blow out your ears. Luckily you can choose between knob or buttons for volume control, but it's inconvenient having to swap between the two.
