I have my Kanas Pro moded with 4.2mm 300 mesh. Still sound better then lower priced iems as EA500 for example.

So the similarly priced Simgot EW200 vs the Salnotes OG Zero.

I get how folks could like it (OG Zero), based on it's clarity, wide soundstage, and above average for budget imaging, but A/B'ing between these and the EW200, we're talking higher resolution, better detail retrieval, better midbass (now, it's not a huge difference, and actually, it's a tad more midbass, so just a bit more bass weight, but not by much), more transparency in the spaces and more air and weighty timbre in the highs with the EW200. Stage is no slouch, though it isn't as 3D as the Zero, but overall, the Zero is for someone who isn't fixated on midbass, who wants as safe a signature as possible. It's like ordering a shirley temple, and being satisfied with that safeness, vs the EW200, which is a well prepared/mixed Margarita.

Winner : Simgot EW200. It's probably the best budget DD IEM (under $100) I've heard?

I'm on the lookout for a set that I'd be happy to listen to at work for extended periods of time which looks and feels good, and would not be too scared to leave it at work. EW200 might be the one. It's currently 40€ on AliX, though, not 20

I have both of those IEM's too and agree with the conclusion that the EW200 is a much nicer/more fun set to listen to. I hardly listen to the Salnotes Zero now that I have the EW200.

Kanas Pro was my first love in this journey. I had exchanged it with one of my friend’s BGVP DM6. The mids were so beautiful on the KP. One of the reasons why I always have an inclination toward sweet mids. I'm not sure if they produce anything like Kanas Pro these days.
