Cross posting here

Most likely the IEMs I will use for my DTE900 review, size comparison.
Penon 10th - ISN EST50 - Sound Rhyme DTE900 - AüR Audio Neon Pro

10th is the largest and also has short stubby nozzle, also has the thinnest resin.

ISN EST50 is actually fairly similar to DTE900, resin nozzle with more angle. Lip and shell ergonomics is same, start of nozzle is bigger but I don't notice.

Neon Pro is a in the middle of 10th and DTE900 size, but has the largest lip since mine is from the handmade version from last year(new models has less). Nozzle angle very similar to EST50, and for me is like custom for my ear.

I find all except 10th to be nice on comfort, but all are for larger ears. But even so my wife's petite ears can use Neon Pro and not EST50, so this is very personal.

Finally QUDELIX T71.
I had some initial problems due to the FW update, but now it seems to work.

It has great audio quality as a stereo dongle alone, without its multi-channel IEMs.

Drive the AKG K712-PRO without problems already in low power.

Thanks to its internal battery, no power problems even on IOS.

I feel that it will give me satisfaction.

Not a fan of the build, but specs and 7.1 output its a nice pick for gaming/movies.

Im surprised about power, 712pro isn't an easy headphone to drive.

Price? (I'm already saving money for q15, but just curious)

Enjoy mate, its a nice pick for sure

Penon Serial - AüR Audio Aurora - Sound Rhyme DTE900 - Hisenior Okavango
Love Serial's size and shape and looks. But I really need to stop spending so I'll just look at pics of it instead 😆

Thanks mate.

Yes, the AKGs turned out to be quite difficult to drive, which I wouldn't have expected, given their impedance around 80ohm (I can't remember exactly).
Also mine are without modding, so in 3.5 unbalanced.
Well, incredibly I drive them at more than adequate volume already in low power mode (I usually use IFI SIGNATURE).

I also looked out of curiosity at multichannel video streams (Netflix, Disney, etc), and obviously the display signals the presence of the various channels (max 96khz in multichannel), but I still have to figure out how to downmix in 2.0.

I also have some Diana Krall multichannel DSDs that I'm curious to hear.

In any case, even thinking of its use only as a stereo dongle, I would say that the device is more than adequate, it has a sophisticated PEQ (like the 5K), adjustable crossed, etc. and big driver power.

Probably, I might do a review on Yanyin Canon II. I'm interested on Yanyin products since I saw the Alladin, Canon and Moonlight here on Head-fi

OG Canon is a versatile little beast with 3 switches that actually work (yes, KZ 👀), looks great and fits like a Custom.

But - shameless plug - I'll be selling mine due to very limited usage ever since AüR Aurora is at hand's reach.

The Denon PerL Pro review is up.

A lot of people here will disagree but this beats most wired IEMs that I've tried.

It shows that if you're going to beat wired iems you don't do it by fine tuning a frequency response graph. You do it by offering a sound presentation that no one else is doing/can do.

The soundstage for one beats any wired iem I've heard save for the Kilo buck Noble Kublai Khan.

https://www.head-fi.org/showcase/denon-perl-pro.26678/reviews#review-31578

For a change it's nice to be able to say that there aren't many wired iems that can compete with a wireless.

By pairing the T71 with the Shanling M0,
the T71 is recognized as an audio interface, and you also get the BLUETOOTH functionality that is absent in the T71
(I have to find a good rubber band to tie them together; the whole is not even that bulky, it fits comfortably in my pocket of the shirt).
