Nahhh. The strand maybe similar. But the 4.4 connector (and probably the soldering tin) is different
Sorry, I meant the strand, I thought it is called "cable".

Any idea if this is the same cable as ISN CSO2?

I often get confused by descriptions on aliex. E.g. XINHS mentions 5 element alloy while listing only 4 - silver, gold, palladium and graphene. Maybe they missed copper? Or it is a 4 element after all.
And even though I much prefer the looks of the ISN cable, I think gold, palladium and graphene mixed into the strands are higher value than rhodium coated plug. Yet the XINHS is cheaper than the ISN cable.
I recently purchased the ISN CS02 and I wish it had earhooks like the XINHS. The CS02 is pretty supple overall, but it doesn't bend as much as I'd like at the left/right connectors. If I don't use the chin slider to secure it, the right side doesn't stay behind my ear.

So the Penon Tail is quite good. I got one to try out as a potential replacement for my HiBy FC4, which my partner commandeered recently. I’m getting a new FC4 for my self but this Tail is better than expected by a decent degree. It’s clean sounding, no background noise at all. It produces solid note weight and has a TON of power, even though it doesn’t drain my phone at an excessive rate.

Thumbs up from me. Tail is a sold dac/amp dongle.

Oldies but goodies. Volt + GC4 with a dash of orange. The IEM that first got me hooked on Penon tuning, and I’m surprised how they’ve held up. Classic Penon mids unsurpassed, and GC4 is a great help for its bass DD, bringing weight and depth to it while keeping a good deal of air up top. Might be my second favourite Volt cable pairing after Totem and way lighter and thinner.

Superficial, but I love the GC4’s copper colour as well. Can’t bear the “gold” that many manufacturers seem to think gold-plated cables ought to look like. (Not complaining - it’s a great reason to save money and not buy them.)

I get so skeptical of all the shilling for penon. Also I think it good for criticism for a company. I really love their tuning.

Serial is meh for me, waiting for repair but tuning is great; Volt, est50, 10th ae and now turbo, wow I love the tuning and I love the accessories and the unboxing; the communication the service. They aren’t perfect - we’ve butt heads - I’ve cancelled orders and disputed and they were quick to refund. I’ve never been burned.

With a lot of other brands I’ve had quarrels with driver quality - build - tuning seemed to always have an overly apparent setback. Penon overcomes a lot for me. I think their passion and dedication to their fans comes through very well.

I can’t wait for new releases!

Got the Penon 10th on loan for some weeks, not sure what I think yet. Might prefer Serial and EST50, but that's personal preference.
Find it very fun with slower electronica or some acoustic smooth jazz.

You can ask for earhooks BTW

That's good to know. I got it from their website and the product page didn't have any options for earhooks. Do you just email them before/after the purchase and ask for earhooks? Would they have charged extra?

No extra and just a email should do it yes.

What can I say?

Raw, refined - it plays anything, everything and for the very most part, will sing.
For folks that can hear subtle but significant differences on cable rolling, The Totem is end game with the Volts...
