Well, the shell is somewhat large and the fit is just OK. Again, when I heard them first time it immediately reminded me of the ISN Audio D10. Sure enough after some switching back and forth they are similar, but the ISN steals the show with better treble. Hmm, I don't want to get into the sound lingo, but the Legato appear a bit veiled to me.

In short, there is no point having two very similar sounding IEM's and one of them will collect dust somewhere. So I might just sell them at a good price and soembody else will enjoy them more than I do.

Yeah, judging by graph Legato lacks pinna... It seems overhyped by 7hz's recent wins. It lacks comparison to a lot of ~good~ basshead sets like CCA Pla13 and HM20. TFZ also is forgotten in that niche. The hobby memory needs to go a little further...

Yes, 2BA is a very unique one for me as well, my current take is “except layering, this is almost a perfectly tuned IEM that 2BA could reach thus far”. Same to Moondrop’s Droplet where I believe that’s the best a single BA could reach so far.

Yes, it‘s more natural sounding than digital BA timbre on DT200. Very competitive set to have. When compared to DT200, HEXA clearly indicate BA timbre on top-end, hope Truthear to learn from Audiosense in dealing with that for their future releases.

So the DT200 arrived, and I've listened to it for a few days.

It is a great IEM at that discounted price, smooth, nothing tonally out of place, and unique in its driver config. Timbre is impressive indeed, especially in mids and highs, and even the bass is not bad at all for BA. Makes me think that perhaps part of what we hear as BA timbre is really due to phase cancellations that are difficult to avoid in multiple BA configurations.

Got best results with spinfits cp100, which bring out that lovely smoothness that they are capable of. Happy man!

Maybe someone will look at me wrong but IMHO hiend daps make sound better almost every IEMs, for example FAN2 sounds incredible good with Cayin N7 and very good with iBasso DX320X AMP14 too but like always matching is very important.
I still love my Fitear TG334 with Cayin RU6 but with N7 sounds better.
Some very sensitive IEMs as Andromeda MW10 sounds better with apple dongle than higher dap, but it’s another story.
I think there’s no rules, you should try by your self before say a cheap dongle is better than an hiend dap, every IEMs is different.
