16db of sub-bass is more than 15db one I’m
having right now with AQ4 Currently wow’ da bass feeling for AQ4, legato must be really a basshead one then!

The graph is actually respectable. No deceiving intention here (unlike some brands and their strange axes). The actual FR looks very good too. I have little doubt it’s another good IEM.

3 borrowed IEMs from HiBy (plus the RS6 DAP, not in photo) came today. Impressive stuffs, especially the flagship Zeta (1DD + 4BA + 4EST). HiBy rep shared some convolutional impulse response. The increase in soundstage with this DSP is insane. The future might actually be DSP, like the fear of some manufacturers.

Just opened JUZEAR thread for follow up posts, this IEM is pretty nice and since someone know JUZEAR has been around for a while, I guess they have at least good tuning skills.

I‘ve keeping my eye on their V4 /V5 for well over 2 years, found no info because it was priced around $300 for 4+1, of course it was proper knowles ones, but nobody wanted to give those a try.

Finally they came up with competitive model 41T, the custom treble BA sounds pretty high performing and has no inherited bellsing timbre, it’s as competent as HEXA’s treble BA unit.

Nicely implemented.

More subbass than SR5, mids and treble a little thicker. A touch more midbass than SR5. Fit is fantastic, same as SR5. Love the cable - thicc SPC I think. I was thinking to replace my dog-chewed SR5 but the 41T is probably more my taste.

Great to have comrades for this niche IEM and yea 41T is another hidden gem They priced at same $140-150 range, so I feel SR5 and 41T are good rivals (technicality wise SR5 is better though)

It’s slightly sub bass mass added $2000 Softears Ceberus made at affordable price to my impression . JUZEAR added 13khz& 17khz air as a substitute of air expression of EST driver, but the basic tuning is after Softears.

This 14BA flagship of SR looks a lot better than promo picture.

Changed Ear tip to H570 from stock and now bass resonance is much more natural. It comes with same mid-boost stock cable as DTE500, so I may need to change it to Null Audio Ethos MKV at some point.(tried and didn’t like the pair). So far Incredibly a $16 NiceHCK MixPP has good synergy with SR8

Currently my first encounter feedback to this 14BA IEM is “a flagship sound”. Not embarrassed as Sound Rhyme —the new generation of cost to performance disrupter—Flagship.

Tracks like this contains lots of musical factors which SR8 could render it with amazing overtone richness and layering to even lower range that is worth to note at first sight.

IMHO the shell is more beautiful than Monarch OG / Clairvoyance, especially when combined with translucent inner side.
Hopefully they sounded as beautiful as their look

Agreed. I love Monarch so, this color-shifting face plate is already hitting my spot, not to mention the translucent inner side to see mighty 14BA packed together.

It has 4 acoustic tubes, and not sure about cross over but surely it will be more than 4way.
