And it is mine but seriously i was listening to the Tangzu Bajie and yes its a good iem but the tuning how it sounded was just my cup of tea.
When you find something that you like this much then new release from them becomes something i consider.
But this is the only Tangzu iem i have heard i have the warner bit i bought to use that as a box art piece i think ill open it up now to see if there is a specific house tuning tangzu has going on that i really like.
What are you guys thoughts on this, do they have a house sig or did just the baije just got it right and others Iems from Tangzu have different sound type?
I must say, these releases of Kiwi Ears are indeed intresting, the Septet is very unique in so many ways, and the Astral is just so good and does nothing wrong. The Astral is my second IEM that deserved getting a 5 stars review.

New IEM from Tanchjim is coming, I have one on the way. Will share more when I am allowed, it might be very interesting as it borrow some tech from a higher end model of them.
Listening to the Aune SR7k today, what a beautiful looking headphone. It pairs well with my DAART Yulong Aquila III. Very clean and crisp sound, enjoying Fragile by Sting today.
My only point that I hoped some folks would consider was that every single device likely does not sound dramatically different to all others as is so often indicated by a lot of folks and that perception plays a huge role resulting in inferences of dramatic sonic differences that do not actually exist or are far more subtle than suggested.
This is not tongue in cheek, I appreciate your view since it does challenge some of our beliefs and makes us rethink our purchases or slows down the PTT habits. It only becomes an 'issue' when it's wrongly worded or clearly too focused on any individual case.
You made a wise choice. The EW300 is one of the best in the under $100 range, and it's got such great balance, and that wispy, crisp treble is fantastic. Not to mention the bass performance.
tbh my expectation was mitiged about the Hidizs MK12 Turris but right now they blow my mind...cause im big fan of piano (im amateur pianist too) and often find lack of lower mids make it sound thin, dry, recessed, lacking presence openess yet MK12 isn't one of those overly U shape tonality for sure....seem like your at 1 meter in back of grand piano since note are super weighty, sustain is dense and release blossom wide and smooth...timbre of mids is super natural which mean female vocal has similar treatment-lush wide presence, super enveloping in very big soundstage, tall and wide, not as deep as MP145 but as wide and more holographic too, its warm and balanced W shape balance...more musical than technical. we have sparkle and well extended treble too that add air on top, acoustic guitar sound crisp and sparkly with good attack definition so listening to Gillian Welch country goddess is so good....
OK. ill share some pros-cons next time....right now its all IN honey moon session....very very yummy one.
It means the golden age of CHEAP is over. Boils down to that, then hopefully things will go back to normal, but for the time being, goods won't be as cheap as before. Maybe add $5.00 to the price tag now? $5.00-$8.00 more PER ITEM.
You're welcome, my friend. Anytime. It's always fun, and yes indeed, it is the pure UPGRADE to the H60. No doubt. So much so, that I try not to listen to the H60 after the Archangel, as to not introduce any performance bias into my H60 listening pleasure. You did a fantastic job of describing the Archangel. Spot on! Yeah, these things are playing in the clouds in my rotation. WORTH. EVERY. PENNY. Penon did it again.
Sounds to be XINHS is fudging with the tax, so they can continue to charge more for their cables? I got one thing to say to them for that, and it's something I can't say here without risk of banning. I already see some stores bringing down their pricing accordingly (like for my IEM cases), so if XINHS doesn't follow suit soon, they will be on my no-fly zone list.
Between you and @Hypops, this makes a lot of sense. This is probably the case?
As I mentioned above, this is blatant price gouging (revenge pricing), and hopefully folks like cary, in direct talks with XINHS, will help in bringing them to their senses?
You have to reach out to Penon directly in DM. You'll be pleased when you do.
Only two more things to add....
The Juzear x ZEOS Defiant is a BEAST!! So any of those initial positive impressions that have come in....I AGREE %
Also, the H20 is such a fun IEM. Now the Defiant is like a less mid bassy, cleaner and clearer H20, yet both are musical.
Agreed, the Defiant I think I've had it for 10 days. It has a close sound signature to my Shanling Tino, which were my favorite until these. The Juzear Defiant just hit you harder, I feel they have more energy in the bass and treble compared to IEMs with very similar dB levels per frequency.
Not sure how to explain that - the sound itself is just more fun but it sounds natural like the Tino. I'd say this is my default sound with the vocal bump higher near 3-4Khz.
