$200 for 3 10mm DD? $150 for 5DD's with the FIVE, $60 for 5DD with the Decet, and $30 for the legendary 3DD CCA Trio/KZ Vader. Not sure this is calling my name at that price? But who knows? The Trio, FIVE, and Decet are all price to performance KILLERS.
So your $20 cables would have a $100 package rate. Using alternate shippers, who knows whether the seller would either add it to the shipping tab and UPS or DHL actually have a program with customs to pre-pay the tariff or maybe the seller uses China Post and you get a note in the mailbox saying come on down to the local PO and pay the $100 fee.
this is why the uproar from folks used to buying throw away fashion from Temu and Shein, that $12 blouse ain't so cheap anymore.
Wow thats just insane! I get that it must be a logistical and accounting headache for all parties involved to navigate these tariffs and as usual the customers are ones who end worse off. Especially a country like the US where there is a really high density of buyers the companies also take advantage of this to milk the buyers. Lets see how this situation progresses but for now its definitely going to lower the consumption rate by alot.

CCA Trio, Mofasest Trio, or the daily trio?
So the Defiant continue to rocket up my love list. Especially when paired with the Sony NW-ZX100. Synergy sisters to the nth degree.
I would never besmirch you for buying the Juz, because it's Defiantly climbing up my list of favorites. One of the top 3 surprises of 2025 and it might stretch back into 2024. I had zero expectations for the Defiant, and it has blown me away with it's capabilities. It's left the other Juzear's I've listened to behind in the distance. Still not 5 stars, thanks to it's nu-meta treble, and by extension, the overall top end resolution isn't there, so it won't get a five, but it's a fantastically solid 4.
New IEM from Tanchjim is coming, I have one on the way. Will share more when I am allowed, it might be very interesting as it borrow some tech from a higher end model of them.
Need suggestions on neutral / neutral-bright desktop amps for use with DX260 as the source. Compact form factor as Topping DX7 pro+ or A70 pro, maximum output below 4W (i will use iems only), wall power, no batteries, no tubes, budget <500$. I've looked through and DX7 pro+ seems a good choice however I don't need a DAC and thought pure dedicated AMP will provide a better performance compared to the same sized device with DAC circuitry stuffed alongside. Ideally available on aliexpress.

You might have blown it with the Septet? If you didn't like the i3 MK III, then you most definitely won't like the Septet. It's very linear bass, and doesn't really have a lot of presence in the mid bass, even in 4.4mm. You might be able to coax out some bass with a warm source and 4.4mm, but knowing your preferences, this might have been a bad buy for you? I've been thinking about selling mine, just because it's lean in the midrange, and the mid bass. Good rumble though, and the stage ROCKS.
